1. Server situation (downtime)

The server has had a number of problems recently for which I apologize. The hosting providers have detailed this is due to upgrading their infrastructure. Note the actual server has been fine, no downtime at all, but the problems occurred when replacing and configuring switches to the outside world.

If you have anything wrong with it, contact the server provider, go tell them how you feel.

Its not nicks fault, nor any of the other staff on here.

The points were gone due to technical issues, and thats that.

As we keep saying, there is nothing that we can do at this moment, your just either going to have to keep loosing, or do the smart thing and not enter them until the server is back up and running properly.

The smart thing and not enter? So you're supposed to nullify one of the reasons why this game is exciting? And Mr Duck, that isn't a cleverly concealed bit if sarcasm now, is it?

Firstly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the actual server itself.

Secondly, a web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own or lease for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity.

The way I see it is once the hosting providers are all sorted or if Nick decides to move hosts then we are all good, but as Nick has stated, this is timely.

Also remember, funky pool is a free online game and it is not down 24/7 - this I am more happy about.

not strictly true, if server plays up not only is game server affected but the forums as well but as spinner/nick has stated already its the hosts doing some maintenance work and the actual server has been fine.

ok then well the only 2 games you have played that actually appear on your results are from today lol but ok
