RANKINGS: bien_agiter 780.1 (+5.2), cphaynes 810.7 (-5.0)

and the tournament went to ncfc1914, but the only reason he won, was because of the website disconnecting. Effecting almost all of the players, DQ'ing them.

I would like my points back from the game above.

Well I just ran the rack in a ranked UK 8 ball match, and it didn't register... pretty hacked off ha.

Very annoying.

My connection seems to fight it off logging me out for some reason when other people are just kicked straight out, it's very weird to be honest.

I can only imagine how annoying this is, and I can imagine that Nick would be trying his best to eliminate these occurrences.

However, at the end of the day, this is a free website. Things cannot be fixed overnight due to the simple fact that Nick probably has a normal life like you and me.

If we were paying for this service (and I do not count Premium, because that is an optional fee and is there only to eliminate adverts), then even I would be very disappointed.

But as with all games online, glitches and mistakes are made. Unlike other sites, we don't have a massive team of technicians who can fix things as soon as a problem arises...and I don't want that to happen either, as a cost would have to be put on the site.

At the end of the day though, they are just numbers and statistics. Earn those points back, win those tournaments that you should have won. If people are good as they say they are, they will win them back very easily.

Just remember that this is a fun, free game .

Thats really not the point, the points shouldn't have been taken away, it's not a question of winning them back, it should be winning more. You play to win.

But you have to play the game as it stands. At the moment, if you log out by closing the window, a server crash or any other way, you forfeit the frame. That happens to everyone on the site...not just to you, not just to me; but if 150 people were playing in a tournament and the system crashed, then 150 people are eliminated from the tournament.

I agree that changes could be made so you don't lose points when the game crashes. But as it stands at the moment, everyone is on an equal playing field. Some will get lucky with tournament wins because of some occurances, but thats just how it is.

I used to get angry when things like this used to happen up until last year. I then on a trip to Cambodia and stayed at an orphanage for 8 days. After that trip, the ranking system and losing some points because of a web crash is NOTHING to me, and nothing to be upset about when you put things into real prospective.

Its a free game, where people socialise...there will be mistakes and glitches and crashes from time to time.

grrr just happened to me aswell... just as i sunk black my connection fails 90/90 and said i lose by default =/

First time it ever happened so...

Now i gotta win like 20 more tourney games to gain it back lol (in a row)

Yeah well i've just been told the server is really slow tonight so best to log off incase if it drops again. Just letting everyone know whoever is on at the moment.
