To be perfectly honest the balls look great. Don't see what the complaints are about more realistic than ever.

Dont think the ghost ball needs to have the shine on it though....its quite off putting

the balls look like they've been left in the loft but only because the shading is not subtle its a map of the globe, if subtle shine was used then i would not have written this essay pmsl - but good idea

Kirk. When someone says "The game isn't realistic enough", everybody responds stating that this is FUNKY pool. Not real pool. It's supposed to be funky (Read: Enjoyable. Not real).

I now find that this game is too realistic, and is no longer funky due to the ball-related changes. It's too much like playing pool down the pub. I might as well go and do that now, rather than playing this. Ruined my life. Thanks.

Just change the colour on the blue, keep the others the same! If it's not broke, don't fix it ;)

i find the changes quite positive.

ive been reading the thread this week and the number of complaints ive seen pfffff. some of the ideas are quite funny.

like damiens one about the cloth and seb's idea about square balls.

The new balls dont roll - they glide over the surface - esp Uk - watch the white!!!!
There are so many false dirty reflections on the balls - it does not look real in any sense - very off putting - in fact bizarre
The spin selector looks like a map of the world

The recent changes have been great but please please bring back the old balls and marker - was virtually perfect last week - now it looks like someone has painted crazy paving on the balls

Exactly what I Mentioned yesterday al about the balls on 8uk

I'm off to Yahoo Pool until this gets changed back :)

have just spent 20 minutes messing around as guest on UK table. I reckon it should be re-named pool on ice as the balls glide so effortlessly across the ice table surface. The old balls may have glided to but that was not noticeable. Select spin and the cue ball glides effortlessly where u want it to go but without spinning......a miracle. The object ball goes where you want it to gliding gracefully but again without spinning.

Everyone try some soft shots and watch your pool balls glide gracefully to their destination.

On the 'flat light' tables you still get remarkable reflections on each ball making it look like someone has drawn a world map on to each ball. I cant imagine why anyone would regard this new look as life like and akin to playing in real life.

Going away for a few days so happy new year to everyone - hope this gets sorted for early in 2011 ......!!!!

I agree the flat light tables look a bit poor. They could be removed to make space for other colours.

I think the balls look realistic and thats good but they do look dirty like they have came out the bin and the balls seem to glide instead of roll and on 8uk the light is only in the middle instead of the whole table.

On the plus side, on the UK table the 8 ball looks fine
