You would invite them? Like in a doubles game get an option to "invite to watch" "invite as opponent" "invite as partner" Just a suggestion.

Doubles in my opinion is a game that is long overdue! should of been here some time ago. I feel the best way would be to have an option that ask's you to invite a partner, then your opponent can invite his/her partner, but the only problem would be is if a random player joins to play as your opponent then he/she would then have to try find somebody who could play.
You should do a month's trial and see how it works out, and then obviously during this time you could think of ways to improve it somehow, we could also point out any faults that could be improved etc. but overall just a basic doubles game to start us of would be appreciated by all!

It would certainly be fun. I like the idea of being able to invite partners to play.

scotch doubles would be cool were each player on a team alternates shots even if they pot on there visit to the table.

nick has already anounced to me that he's focusing on updating killerpool more recently - this would be a good feature to add here yes and its mearly a matter of time.
I'f it works out im looking for a decent UK8 player to join me at rank 1 of the doubles table

Isn't that exactly what doubles is... or am i being special again?
Still want this to happen... although i can see onua/perfect_play being the ultimate doubles side...

for tourneys you could type your name with a partner but the partner has to agree

Tournaments are very tricky.
Rankings for a pairing also very tricky. Ranking using some kind of team average is possible.

I'm happy with doubles being friendly
Just make it a room of 4 players a prompt saying to join Team A or Team B so the players can decide who's on their team

the only problem with that is if you have a 900, an 800 on the other side - the other 700 will join the 900.
On the other hand if you get 2 900's would many play them? (this is refering to their rankings solo)
