The other league clearly state deadlines for lists to be in and members of staff post on the clans thread telling when there is news like when the season is starting and when the teams have to be in. Letting captains swap fixtures after they have been released is like saying to captains you pick which players you want to play who from the other team which is like match fixing when games should be random imo.

The real problem with this league is that there is no communication between clan members and the runners...It's got up and running really quickly, but at what cost? If you had asked most members a few days ago, they wouldn't have had a clue what was going on.

I think a real clear-up is needed by Marco and Kev, things need to be sorted BEFORE they become an issue and people need to know what is actually going on...otherwise, chances are this league won't get through the first season, let alone anymore after that. I think that delaying the start for a few days to iron out the very many creases may be a good idea...

and the deadline for the pre-season friendlies is 4th of august, which is today, so should still be on until the end of today shouldn't it?

How can we say slow things down when its already too late?

And i wasn't aware that the pre-season friendlies were for seedings, i thought it was to try and prove they can get in the league

first of all the league was going to start several days ago
then fixtures got drawn and sort of ending up being pre-season friendlies



10 days ago..... The 4 clans with the most points will be in Division A and bottom 4 Division B.

so thats 2 divisions, not groups

then yesterday it got changed to the fpl-esk (and i might add its identical to the clan world cup that finished not too long ago) 2 groups, top 2 go through to semis, winners of semis play in final

and then seedings are done, and again completely changed from what was originally whoever gets the most points to, who did well


now what?

So what we picked the teams for the first week? Marco wanted the fixtures out so we did it, we also allowed you to change, swap and sub as you wished because we'd picked the teams. Make the subs you want so it's the team you and play.

Secondly I've already explained why the seedings were done so don't see why you're making up your own way of doing it Zak

and lastly neither of us were around when the FPL was running so we had no knowledge of how it ran and came up with our own albeit the same way of doing it as them.

So what? Don't you think it would've been worth speaking to the captains of the member-clans first and telling them what was going on?

Why were we not forewarned that the 'friendlies' would dictate the seedings of the clans?

Okay, if it's similar to the FPL than that's fine, the format may change, even if it doesn't and the formats remain similar, there are different clans in it and different players, so can we stop comparing the two?

I've explained all that needs to be said, yes we've made mistakes and they won't happen again, I still don't see why you can't make the subs you want and get on with it.

Jeeez the lads put a league together to try and satisfy members and you all start hurling abuse at them? Give them a break! They have made a few mistakes which I am sure they are now aware of but can we not play the fixtures as they come now and enjoy it? The league has started the setup of teams was a mistake but they are aware of this and are going to request lists from captains in the future, I just think it is all being blown out of proportion and you all need to give the guys a break.

That tells me the league starts Sunday, NOT today.

So for SOME captains to pick the team that they want, they have o use some of their subs which the players they have replaced wont be able to play in the current fixtures again. Yet some captains have been able to pick their teams and wont be down on subs.


You explained how you did the seedings, its pretty obvious why you would do seedings. Its just its changed from a 'draw of the hat' to points won from the friendlies, to who you think has done well based on the match results and is frankly fairly inaccurate. Its you/marco who have made up your own way of doing it seemingly as it is being done

and within 7 hours of each other you and marco have said you used 2 different methods of seeding

and both your clans have ended up in the easier group (not saying the group b clans are bad, just with the likes of UT in group a who were the only ones able to really challenge (and often best) mvp

Doesn't really matter, the threads are their available for all to see, you can find out the format, how it was run, etc.

Seedings, may be suspect but just play the group you are in If you aren't good enough in the end you wont win the final simple.
