marco its your league so you should have the answers......
Why was the seeding based on head to head matches instead of the points each clan got in or an average of it like the actual league will be

I think it is bang out of order for you to pick teams for us.
I am tempted to take my team out of this.
I am going to discuss with my members before a final decision.

hang on a second here
every league is gonna have ups and downs during the first season
maybe by pointing out some errors in a private way rather than berating the guy in public would have been better
does it really matter who you play and when during season one
and taking your team out will achieve nothing IMO
Lewis and Flumps - this league has been going now for weeks with friendlies - to say you only noticed it now is rubbish - you are both supposed to be moderating the forums so I cant understand how you missed this........if you didnt miss this then it just seems to me like you were waiting for the official start before trying to throw a spanner in the works - I hope no-one does that when you finally launch your FPL and its amazing technicolour website

Too many things wrong with it, will take more than a paint job to paint over the cracks.
1. Captains not being allowed to pick teams
2. Seedings being randomly done or it seems
3. Some clans playing more matches than others
4. Different dates being supplied by people running league
5. Captains not being properly informed about league
6. Defaults are not being done
I honestly think it is being rushed, a lot of members are confused and have NO idea what is going on. Captains should all have a say in the matter, some arguements have been caused by just rushing the matter.
Organisational skills are abysmal if truth be told.
I may be blunt, but I just want my say and I want to be truthful.

no it wasnt
based on frames for (unfair as some clans only played one match)
would be
thunder
untouchables
hurricanes
golden eagles
crazy 8s
sharpshooters
cobras
fugitives
based on % of frames won (so it doesnt really matter how many games got played as all clans have even chance of scoring) would be
thunder
sharpshooters
untouchables
hurricane

cobras

I actually think the seeding is perfect and the group split is fine
seedings can work on either total points or matches won - seems to me it has been done on matches won which should be fine with all
also - teams were picked warney - but with the caption - make as many subs as you like during the first round of matches
more praise and less criticism would see this league work really well
all the friendlies - as far as I can see were completed and there has been a good start to the matches as well
why not let this run - have fun - then discuss what could have been better at the end of the season

But... marco has not been around long enough to see FPL around FPL caved in 2 seasons ago, and who cares if it resembles your FPL its a totally diffrent league even though nearly all is the same, i thought FNL was 3 games of 8US, 9US, 8UK and one game of straight though?

Captains did pick who they wanted to play, my vice captain choose ours as i wanted him to do this league as i am busy with FCL

this is the reason so many things fail on FP
ppl see posts - then jump on the bandwagon without looking a little deeper
everything is now set up - rightly or wrongly - so just get on with playing your flipping matches - you never know - you might just enjoy it

2. We didn't have time to collect team sheets from all captains so had to pick ourselves and hence allowed you to swap and make as many subs as need be.
Not sure that says the captains choose to be honest.

So some people got to pick their teams and some didnt?
now that seems very unfair
and if a captain wanted a a particular team to start then they could sort it all out with subs, but then those subs arent eligible to play

Yeah but thats with good warning, and when clans dont send in lists after the runners have clearly mentioned the need for them to be in
the deadline for the games to be played isn't even up, no defaults have been made and yet the season has started??

I was informed the league started on 8th August by a "league runner" on my thread.
I could not sub some players as when I got online, two games were played before I could do anything, how am I supposed to sub players, what if I wanted my strongest side and two of the weaker players have played their games without full knowledge it was for FNL as someone has just opened PM for them to play games.
