shooters wernt and didnt suggest we were folding or quitting,,, i asked for the cap to be placed on the thread for obvious reasons

shooters will continue to support the FCL and will complete fixtures as normal

i can only apologise for any misunderstanding caused

dont no when this rule came in, however if people can make an approach mid-season for any player, regardless of who did or said what.. and destabalise a team.. i dont agree with it, clans can fold, its a pathetic rule, no limit on players you can take from a team mid season.. except the captain must release them.

if you dont release them and pick them they could loose on purpose its a really no win win situation and a dangerous precident to set

we have 15 players ,, and id much prefer to not release the player and dont pick him, stops all problems

i cant believe this rule exists and even if it does no limit to how many players you can tap up mid season and bully a captain into releasing them

They can leave the clan without you releasing them, and have to wait until the next season (they would still be eligible to play for you) so i don't think there's is an issue with deliberately losing on purpose as they would get into trouble

I think it would only be useful under certain circumstances, but i agree with you that the rule shouldn't exist - as one captain can be bullied slightly - but that player can be kicked out and not released ( i think) but i'd rather the rule wasn't there

not a problem leaving ,,,, thats not the issue the clan concerned has already taken one player from another clan

its cheap poaching players when the season has started
however i guess that works both ways now


clans can fold because of a silly rule like this, not that we will but thats not the point , teams trying hard to keep together for a full season can loose players daily and force clans to fold its a loop hole i never new existed but hey maybe its just me that feels this way

Only thing you can do under the current rules is to not release them, but don't play them

I know it's not great to hear it now, but until it affects a lot more people, it is unlikely that the rules will be changed mid-season - so you'll have to tough it out until inbetween seasons

I do feel though it is a loophole into getting players from another clan mid-season (only way i could see it being a good thing was if a player wasn't getting any games so wanted to move mid-season to get some games and potentially stop a clan folding)

been in as long as i can remember, unsure about start as i was only here from about season 7 or 8.

on snooker we have a transfer window for 1 week during the season.

if player leaves before transfer = miss season until transfer
if player leaves during transfer = fine but cant play in cup if you played a cup match with previous clan
if player leaves after transfer = miss season altogether

plus we have quarantine and 1 month rule in place.

In short, if you're the captain and you don't want your player to leave then don't release them. It's really that simple. The player has agreed to join your clan so force some commitment into them and make them stay the season.

and then they will loose or just not play end in defaults,

If they loose purposefully then they'll be kicked out of the league period for match fixing
