Thanks for the post mate, all i am wanting is for the rules to be applied. We are all aware of the rules regarding games going to default so why should anything change?
The facts are that there player was not logged in for 4/5 days and they made a sub the night before the deadline who then said he couldn't play when he was approached to play by our player.
Would it be fair to assume that you would expect this default to be straightforward?
There is not a rule regarding the play off that has been decided, so why are the rules being changed mid season.
If it was my player who had not been on for over half the time allowed to play and then another player who i subbed in had been unable to play when asked i would have been expecting to lose the default and would have told the clan runners so as i have done in the past.
I really can not believe that this has happened and find the whole thing disappointing and i will be honest i am questioning my involvement in the clan league as i find the whole thing a joke. I spend a lot of time chasing players watching log-ins and now it appears i shouldn't bother.

Who'd have thought it would be so much hassle?



I'd like to see what information crazy's sent to aaron because judging by the above statement it is slightly one sided and quite plain as to who should get the default :/.

Nevertheless i'm game with whatever the hell happens (as long as it's fair ofcourse)

yeah i expected destiny to get the default after he showed me the pm between himself and < unnamed > that < unnamed > refused to play and wasn't able to come on night of deadline, i understand it involves messages and log ins but a team what makes a sub VERY close to deadline and then refusing to play i dont see how it was a draw.

As it is approaching the end of the season can all players please send me a message advising if they are staying or if they are planning to move on. I need to know what numbers i have for next season.


Also, please can we have a push and send all of our opponents on the outstanding games a message so we can start getting these games played or post on there clan thread if there is any problems. Please can you message updates to me on all games so i know we are chasing and where we are up to on them.

To be honest i think the people who do the defaults bottled it when they had to choose which way the default fell

I think you are probably spot on with that, but as league runners and enforcers of the rules it is for them to make such decisions in line with the rules that they have set.

I'd like to point you to the fact that defaults, both popular and not, have been made in deciding games before, so that is most certainly not the case here.

I'd like you remind you of the rules, defaults are decided 100% based on the single game and not the total outcome of a match.

I for one never look at the match before dealing with default games, nor did I in this case, but whether you want to believe that or not is beside the point.

The point is there was not enough within the total set of information available to us to make a rule in either player's favour in the game between destiny and fired_up_cue/midgett.

The rules need to be amended with the old rule about playoff or otherwise changed to make sure we can not reach a draw in cup games, but with the lack of such in the current ruleset, Aaron did well to lean on the rules we used to have for this scenario.

Unless not all the evidence was given I don't see how this can be true.

Destiny was on everyday... fired_up_cue was subbed. The sub refused to play the game. There is more to it but those are the main points. I've had defaults go my way in previous seasons for less than this.

I want to play the cup match, the initial draw.
I was able to play the 29Th as I wrote on Wednesday 23 june.

Im not trying to cause any arguements here but it has to be said Destiny was def not on everyday. I had to play him in the clan world cup at the same time as these matches and had an absolute nightmare getting him to play the match. When he did come on, he left after the first game type with no explanation or reason. Its as much destinys obligation to get the game played as anyone else and on that front, he isn't good.

I can tell you now destiny missed 2 days which were the same days that fired wasnt on.

I was only going on information given to me by others, if he did miss a couple of days then my bad for forwarding false information. However he was online more times than fired_up_cue hence the sub. The fact midgett refused to play the game kind of puts you guys in a bad light though.

Jerry, if there is to be a play-off which there really shouldnt be, I would suggest the initial draw to be played (or vs midgett) rather than capt vs capt.

obviously some people are unhappy with the default so if a playoff has to be played it should be played by the players involved in the default.

I dont even think there should be a play off, if midgett refused to play then surely the default would go to destiny...

I and whatever player from MVP sent evidence out and descision has came back with this so there must be good points from both sides, there is no point in arguing this descision as stated by janmb on "clan news" the descision stands

He obviously refused to play it because he knew he would have more chance of winning through the default.
