Being a former staff member I think I should step in before this gets into an argument, the defaults go on log-ins and messages sent, messages are priority, but log-ins do still count.

I haven't been on much, so I don't know who will get the default and even if I was on I wouldn't say who I expected the result to go to.

The person who tried to contact the other player the most will more than likely have an advantage in the default case. If no messages were sent, then online activity would decide it.
