To win the men's Wimbledon title, yes, but Virginia Wade won the women's, Jamie Murray won the mixed doubles and Laura Robson won the girls' since then and hopefully she can successfully defend her title

Look at this for great sportsmanship... Tommy Haas has really gained my respect!

Good to see a Belgian through to the 3rd Round (Flipkens) after all the men lost 1st/2nd round. Shame it was at the expense of a Scot, but Murray is still there so it's ok.

Anyone watching the ladies tennis match now - Kirilenko and Wozniacki? Dayum! I'd rather these two stay on and play than having to see Murray hammer someone else
Edit: Damn it's over

Samantha Stosur was poor earlier, Malek was very unlucky. Hopefully Stosur improves for the next game.

Tommy Haas was unlucky not to beat Federer at the French Open, was 2-0 up and playing well, but Feds just turned it on and overturned him 3-2.
Murray v Gulbis
6-2, *1-2

Shame for Kirsten Flipkens against Safina today. She did very well in the first set, but just didn't have it in her for the second.
Andy Murray was excellent today, he looked unbeatable throughout the match.
Juniors have started, and Boy's top seed and Roland Garros winner Daniel Berta (SWE) is comfortably through to the 2nd Round after a 6-4 6-0 win over Belgian Yannick Reuter.

She did indeed
Anyway, you still have the Scottish hope of Andy Murray, whereas Belgium are now relying on doubles and Juniors

He got the Swiss number 2 in the next round, seeded 19 and he's the number 2 of his country, our number 2 is no where, our number 1 in the women's is only just in the top 100. We need more tennis players.
And it will always be Henman Hill
ps. An English man and a Belgian won the first ever match under the Wimbledon roof

Clijsters - Legend
Henin - Also legend
Since those two, Belgium haven't had a top player. We have a few men who do well at times (Darcis, Vliegen, Christophe Rochus, Olivier Rochus, Xavier Malisse) but never tend to make it too far in a Grand Slam. As for women, we only have two real players, Flipkens and Wickmayer, again they don't make it that far. The great news however is Clijsters is coming back
Wawrinka is a good player, I think he can still improve and Murray will have a tough game this time. I think Murray will win, but in 4 sets.

Darcis did pretty well at Queens. Henin was a legend, one of my favourites in the women's game, never won Wimbledon though.
And was going to mention the Clijsters comeback, she was on about it after Henman and her v the Agassis

I loved Henin. She was superb.
Darcis did well yeah, and Oli Rochus got to the semi finals in Halle. The main problem for Oli and Xav is they need to keep playing qualifiers, which Oli doesn't do too well in. Xav tends to ease through them thankfully.
I really hope Clijsters can get her old form back, it would add more excitement to the ever changing first seed spot
