Which is cool sometimes.... Except for then!

We also can't get past the Mercenaries mode. We can't even get a B on the first level! And sometimes it seems like we do really well, but then... fail.

I find mercenaries easier as one player, I don't like how the screen is split, although it's easier to get the time with two players.

I haven't commited much into mercenaries yet, but

Do you remember the part (I think it's just before you fight Jill and Wesker) where you have to move the big box in order to jump down into the room and unlock the door for your partner?

That part gave me so much trouble! When my cousin was helping, we couldn't stop them from getting me before I moved the box all the way. Then I upgraded my shotgun and played it with the AI instead... and I beat it on the first try. =/

Is that where you have to lower the bridge, with all the lickers?

Yep, that's the part.

Robbean, it is a little confusing to get the controls right (and getting used to not being able to walk or run whilst shooting!), but after the first level or two I loved it.

Resident Evil has always had dodgey controls, and it makes the games good
