Certainly agreed - watch it in slow motion and Rooney had already decided he was doing nothing other than going down. You could definitely say his intention was to 'play' for the penalty. No surprises it was given though as there was contact after that and there is no way the referee could do anything else.

Giggs awful? first have yeah i agree, second half he was one of the best on the field.... And to foster.... he made 1 mistake which cost us, apart from that, i feel he was MOTM
