As I already mentioned - you don't have to come online to be doing the job, thats just one of the many aspects of moderating.

Lets not forget that some mods may be away for pre-arranged breaks for whatever reason, and those are nobody's business but their own.

I was happy to let this thread go, but it seems productive input has dwindled to non existance, so lets summarise and cap :

Truely inactive mods are always returned to member status - just because someone appears inactive does not mean they are.

There is no limit to the number of mods we can have, and applications are considered on a monthly basis, as is clear with the new people joining the moderating team regularly.
