I think it would be also good to have more allowed rank ranges when setting up a game, particularly at the high end. For instance 850 - 950 or 825 and above etc. I generally don't set up game rooms anymore because in the past guys with 802 ranks or similar enter. If I'm on around 870 I may as well play people with ranks around 780 as the ranking points won/lost will be similar. Also, calling the game room "850 or above ONLY" sounds cheeky to me.

The 9 ball ranking system still seems a little odd to me with too many points won and lost per game, although I understood Nick's reasoning on a previous thread that it is to get a distribution of rankings between the high and the low end. It also seems that if you play a long game of 9 ball and player A is 30 points ahead of player B as long as the game is fairly close the ranks seem to converge at the end of the game.

Official leagues, although I think if more people were pro-active in sorting games out amongst themselves the clan leagues would work just as well.

Seems logic.

I would like a variation of tournaments. For example the 'backwards tournament' they tried was a great success yet hasn't been repeated I would also like to see 'no-english tournaments' where your positional play is key no spin. Maybe a random round tournament. Like 8 ball UK one round, 8 ball US another round and 9 ball another

Occasional tournaments (tournaments only - not ranking/friendly game rooms) on the old pro tables.

Ability to see who is in game rooms, not just the owner.

Coloured names when in game, i.e. friends in green, ignored users in red. This would be especially helpful if my idea of having an avoided list would ever come into play, since you could see in the game rooms people who annoy you by there name standing out. Boy, would I have a long list...

ACCEPT & DECLINE notice when someone is adding you in their list so that you know who has added you in their friend's list.

Allowing you to retrieve previous comments in the PM window, so that if the person doesn't accept private messages, you can just copy and paste them. Shame to not be able to access them after all that effort of typing it out....

Delete all messages in one go rather than 1 at a time, also once you have can they not be re used by the recipitant and they need to make fresh ones, id like old and out of date messages to stay that way.

I think so too. It removes all the skill. People work hard to get up the rankings then somebody flukes a golden break and they lose 7 points or something.

I think the 9 Ball run out stat should only be given for a real run out where the player clears the table rather than for a fluke break with an easy tap-in
