The ref has had to leave his house thanks to a barrage of death threats and according to the Sun's "UEFA Insider" will never ref in the CL again!

I read this too. You would think if it was true then at least one 'UEFA insider' would not have been able to resist the urge to make an absolute killing at the bookies.


Isnt this the sort of thing though that sets football apart from every other sport in terms of entertainment value? Long may it continue!!

no, I think it will be Manchester United who will take the crown yet again.

The probably have more support this time then they did last year as they are the only english side - and I am sure that no matter which premier league club you support, you would like to see an english team winning.

Their top players are now more experienced at the Champions League final, other finals, winning league titles, world challenges etc...Barcelona have not won an international comp for a while now

I think Man United will take it out in a fantastic match, possibly in extra time - their experience will pay off later on in the match.
