another match is nearly here
its now i have to close my ears
the constant drone of trumpeting
makes coronation street worth watching

He should come back give his touch

wot a match i had tonight,
me and deejay it was tight,
the final games in the cup,
i needed 10 and couldn't mess up.

it went 3-2 to me in uk
they were close games that we did play,
in 8 ball it turned out the same,
going down to the last game.

down to 9 ball it would be,
my favourite game as u may see,
i needed four to get us through,
jeeez no pressure am off to loo!

i won the first and then the second,
twas lookin good i did reckon,
went to the last game for the win,
he threw it away for the white went in.

i cleared the 8 and then the 9,
the win secured and feelin fine,
deejay played with some bad luck,
but a wins a win i don't give a toss .

good luck to FPB's next time,
good competition all the time,
maybe when yer out of division 2,
your play won't be as bad as poooo

Title : Summer

Summer (for any old girl)

i like it once a year u know
not that! you cheeky swine,
dipping our toes, forgetting our woes
and paddling in the brine.

the kids they finish school you know,
waddaya fancy....so do i!
we close the doors at the end of june,
all hugs and tears and goodbyes.

i'd fancy somewhere quiet,
not too hot with a swimming pool,
just relax, with plenty of sax,
and drinks to keep us cool.

but paula let me tell ya,
in northern ireland's beautiful land,
we ain't had summer for 2 years,
our lord is takin the hand!

the sun came out in may and june,
just for a couple of weeks,
then july and august,
the sky just bleedin leaks!
