My Day(12/10/08)
This morning i was sick as a dog
dunno why, just felt rough
maybe last night i had too much grog
but thats my fault...so tough
tongue like sandpaper
dry as a bone
oh what a caper
couldnt even talk on the phone
about noon i came round
bacon butty with an egg
it tasted proper and sound
got some yolk on my leg
went to the park with the golden child
had a walk, play and ice cream
kept thinking of a pint of mild
and realised it was a bad dream
but i did go to the park
it was a glorious day
normally, i go with my mate..Mark
and his lad Charlie
but it was just me and mine
the little blonde princess
she can be such a swine
when she gets ice cream on her dress
but she wore t-shirt and jeans
just like her dad
we had chips and beans
then we felt more glad
we went home and had some tea
chicken drummers and salad
it was still warm and sunny
and we were still happy and glad
good day had by all on a fine Sunday
now its late, so time to chill
memories wont go away
as the day was brill

Haha, well, it would be very difficult to tell a stranger in Adelaide, about what happened in Melbourne to her son. It was practically a matter of life and death! I mean the pressure of it all!!
