Lots of thoughts run thru my head
Especially of the times gone by
Of Poems thats made me smile and cry

Some have made me laugh so much
Some theyve had that special touch
Some are gangsta made into a rap
Some make me howl cos they are crap

There have been short ones and some long
Some have been copied from words in a song
Some you can tell will be good from the start
Because you just know they are from the heart

Weve had loads of poems over a period of time
People expressing feelings through rhyme
Ive read EVERY poem thats been typed on here
But the ones that i love are the ones i hold dear

We all know what ones that im on about
The ones where the words really stood out
From people close who cared for me one day
And are now locked in my heart to stay.
