its just the way it goes- you win some and you lose some

Good win for Celtic, well done.
Another big game, another case of wrong tactics. These tactics may well work against the likes of Motherwell, but when it comes to Celtic and European teams we just get ripped apart and it's simply not good enough. Sort it out Walter

Rangers never turned up today, they were absolutely dreadful.
Weir, Whittaker, Bougherra, Davis, Papac, Naismith. All hopeless, didn't look like they wanted to win the game.

these things happen when you play the champions

On the more important game yesterday, another defeat for the Saints. We may be 5 points clear of Hamilton, but Accies will pick up form soon and we'll be on our way down.
Craig Dargo is hopeless, how this guy gets a game every single week, I don't know. Wasted every attack we had yesterday. Michael Higdon needs better deliveries into the box, Danny Lennon needs to try win games and stop going for draws, and we need to stop conceding late goals.
A home defeat to the 10th placed team in the league shows just how bad we are. Away to Motherwell on Wednesday and then Kilmarnock away on Saturday, the signs look awful right now.

You're not the champions yet though. We're still the champions until such times as you take the title off us.

Smurf it's not the fact he said that it's the fact that all Celtic fan's seem to life in the past when Celtic were the champions, so what happens now huh because Rangers and Celtic are both champions, and until you take the title off us you are not the champions we are and if you have a look at celtic coming up to end of season's there form usually dips and you dont know what will happen. No offence to Celtic fan's just the guy that posted that to be honest haha

Wrong tactics? I swear Smith better just put in a simple 4-4-2 because these formations he comes up with are out of control one actually works but he changes it again and again, Smith is a legend but can't wait for Ally to take over

Unfortunately some of our fans act like Dargo's the best player in the world. What they see in him, I'll never know.
2 games won at home, and 2 away. Why? Because every time we take a lead, we sit back. Because as the game goes on and we're level, we don't push for a winner. Why? Because Danny Lennon is too negative.
Danny and Iain Jenkins have made themselves look like idiots. Promises of good football to watch, going for the top six (and in Jenkins eyes, challenging the Old Firm!)...instead, we're fighting Hamilton Accies to avoid relegation, the nice football is non-existant, and we're a shadow of the side we had last season. People can try say our budget was lowered - but we wasted half of it on players who weren't good enough. I'd rather bring in two or three really good playars instead of ten average players. The worst thing is, Lennon can't see any of his errors. He doesn't understand how we lose half our games, thinks we play well when we don't.
Finally, Marc McAusland is NOT a wing back. Why the hell Van Zanten was dropped for Cheesy, I don't know. Everyone can see Cheesy isn't a right back/wing back, it's having a bad effect on the guy and his confidence is shot now because of it.

And finally, And what happened to David Barron? I doubt he's been injured all season. He was excellent last season, he's a great right back...and he's barely played. Nice going Danny Lennon, top six indeed...

To be honest, Saints were doomed as soon as Gus left...

Pretty much my thoughts. Gus was good enough at finding players on free transfers to build a squad capable of staying up. Instead, too many fans moaned about him, and now look what they've done.

Anyway, Motherwell 0-1 Saints. Important win, 8 points clear of Accies. Everyone says we're safe...but us Saints fans know, we're never safe until it's guarenteed! Had an 8 point gap over Dunfermline when we came up and were 40 mins off bottom with a game left...6 point gap going into split over 3 teams last season, 90 mins from going down...we're never safe
One Michael Higdon!

what a poor performance as soon as celtic ran out they thought they had already won it and all they would have to do was turn up. a reality check for many and just as we managed to get a bit in front of rangers we mess up, and rangers took full advantage.

Oh, what was to blame this week in the SPL...
The pitch?
The Ref?
Suttons Feet?
Nope,
The excuse was simple.
Celtic were terrible, not the same side that thrashed Rangers last week that's for sure.
Nice to see the Well getting a result today, just goes to show that any team is beatable.
