glasgow celtic championees

Think you'll find Rangers are the current champions

Anyway, just because a team beats their rivals doesn't automatically mean they will win the league. There is still a long way to go and both teams will no doubt drop more points along the way.

of course there will be many points dropped but celtic will drop less which means we are champs

Don't you mean 'we will be champs'? If you say champs in the present tense then you're refering to Rangers, who are the current champions.

St Mirren earned a great result as we drew 0-0 at home to Peterhead yesterday in the Scottish Cup. Absolutely amazing performance to take it to a replay against the 2nd Division strugglers.

Get Danny Lennon out now ffs, before he takes us down and we get embarrassed by Peterhead when they knock us out of the Cup

Or maybe because he wants to work in a more senior role, like Director of Football (but not necessarily at Rangers). Anyway, he always stated from the start that it was only temporary with a view to handing the job over to Ally McCoist.

How can you compare Celtic's situation to that of Rangers? Are Celtic being controlled by Lloyds? Are they being forced to sell players just so they can sign another? Didn't think so!

Mate, I have the decency to call Celtic by their proper name. You could at least do the same with Rangers if you want me to take your arguements seriously

Were any banks running/bailing them out at that time?

My dad's side of the family are Catholic and my mum's side are Protestant. I moved with my mum into her parents house when I was 2 years old. Don't judge what team people support just by their surname.

Hearts have also been allowed to operate with 30m+ debt. Not that it's right, but Rangers aren't the only side with high debts.

Why does a Scottish club's fans wave Irish flags around? They played in SCOTLAND, they are SCOTTISH. It would be like St Mirren fans waving around Bulgarian flags, Hearts fans waving Icelandic flags.

When Celtic play in Europe (representing SCOTLAND), what must opposition fans think of them? After all, if Ajax came to Scotland with German flags, or Valencia with Portugal flags, we'd be wondering why.

To me, you seem to be the typical example of the paranoid, narrow minded, Everyone-is-against-us Celtic fan.

Well said yoda

Edit: Just read an article about the Irish flag "campaign". The flag was actually flying on a flagpole situated on top of one of the stands, put there by a member of the Celtic FC staff. To me that's much worse than it simply being put on display by Celtic fans.

although i am of the rangers persuasion, I have to disagree with you both....

our fans wave ulster flags - i have also seen ulster flags, spanish flags - even bulgarian flags - at English Premier League Grounds....

We all know the history that surrounds these two clubs and the waving of the irish flag is part of that clubs identity - even though i hate them with a passion

Also, I was appalled at the last Rangers match that me and hubby went to at the amount of sectarian songs still being sung - this doesnt even happen in Northern Ireland anymore....

Each club has its identity and should be allowed to show that in their flags, emblems - even their kits....

Please dont criticise a club for waving a flag when our own supporters are still singing songs that should only be sung at one time of the year (in July)

Thanks

Emily

I agree that sectarian songs are a problem on both sides and more needs to be done to stamp this out.

The thing that gets to me is that a minority of "Celtic fans" continue to disrespect and disrupt the rememberance of the war heroes.

They sing about "If you know our history", but how many of them actually know that 7 Celtic players were killed in World War 1?

I despise both halves of the Old Firm. I just felt our little Celtic friend needed to open his eyes up a bit.

werent the team that you support the ones with the sectarian signing policy??? think you will find you were so because you obviously have some sort of issues dont assume we all do

have a good day sir

Good to see the Scottish Cup Third Round tie between Threave Rovers and Stenhousemuir finally being played tonight, after being postponed 15 times since November
