Lol, most likely yoda.
All teams in Prem league want the season extended due to the weather, EXCEPT Rangers and Celtic.
What on earth are Rangers thinking, they'll have to play European games (if they're lucky) and other cup matches as well as the league matches.
SPL2 has found it's way into the media again. Thoughts on this?

Yeah, i saw Killie scored first. Shocker for Celtic.
It's getting to the point they are worrying less about the league, and more about keeping Hearts from taking 2nd.
Hearts are on fire at the moment, unlucky game against ICT the other day, if they won that then Celtic would have some immense pressure on them come the old firm game.
Good to see Killie get a result, only last season they were at the opposite end of the table, nice to see.

I saw that SPL 2 idea, bloody horrific.
SPL1 with ten teams, most likely Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Hearts, Hibernian, Kilmarnock, plus three others, with two relegation spots. How are the smaller clubs meant to compete in such a small league? Add in the fact, you play the same teams 4 times a season already (+ cup games), and you're thinking - where's the fun in that? It also means it's tougher to close the gap on the Old Firm.
Secondly, SPL2. Another ten, and everyone below that gets chucked into regional leagues. This would kill off loads of 2nd and 3rd Division clubs. They want to compete in the real thing, not get thrown into some regional league.
Drastic idea. I'd much rather have a 16 Team SPL with winter break, keep the 1st/2nd/3rd, add in a pyramid system.

yoda i totally agree with you that set up would not work at all and the idea of a top 4 playoff to win the league is pathetic and unfair. the thing is though what can we do to really improve the scottish game? its getting that bad that any set up i think has too many disadvantages and not enough positives to really change around our dying game in scotland. but lets get behind scotland and our game as i think it desperately needs it.

I'd like to see a 20 team league, teams from the Prem and 1st division in 1 league, then 2nd and 3rd division teams in a championship league, with any major teams such as the old firm and Edinburgh teams could add in B teams.
I think this sounds better.

I'd love a 20 team league, but I think they'd have to build it slowly, maybe go 16, then 18, then 20. I can't see teams like Cowdenbeath being thrown into a league with the Old Firm going down too well.
I've never been a fan of B teams. It can cause problems with promotion and relegation. And if you're a lower league fan, playing normal sides like Brechin City or Alloa Athletic sounds more appealing to me than a "B" team full of guys coming back from injury etc...then again, I've seen enough of the old firm, lower clubs haven't, maybe they'd think differently.

i think whatever changes are going to be made people will still scrutinise it but i think id like a 16 team league but with clubs only playing old firm twice and old firm only playing each other twice alot of money would be lost especially for the lesser teams and also i think i heard sky wont allow for the old firm to play less than 4 times a season for obvious reasons iss this true?

Well the chances of Rangers and Celtic meeting in the coop cup and scottish cup are always high.
Yes, revenue would be lost but the other teams would earn it. Plus, any teams at the top would get European cup money as well.

Another poor result for St Mirren against a very good Kilmarnock side. We need to improve.

Think you'll find Rangers are the current champions
Anyway, just because a team beats their rivals doesn't automatically mean they will win the league. There is still a long way to go and both teams will no doubt drop more points along the way.
