There's blame going around everywhere on this, One minute Vienna wanted to let him go, now they want him for Europa, the next they say Rangers pulled out because they signed Beattie.

Guaranteed if Villa beat them tonight and the next leg, Jelavic will be a Rangers player, (excluding Champs league, which i think is a ridiculous rule IMO)

Hmm I've just read that Jelavic could be inelegible for the Champions League if his old club Rapid Vienna get to the Europa League Group Stage.

Not sure if this is entirely true, but a few websites (especially BBC) say someone from UEFA denied (off-record) that this would happen, whatever the outcome of the Rapid game.

Well he didn't take part in a European game for Vienna so it should be no problem.

Having seen the highlights, it's lucky it was only 4. I've missed both games this season, but from watching highlights we were lucky to get a draw with Dundee United (and they were lucky to score in the last minute), while Celtic ripped us apart. I'm totally unconvinced by Danny Lennon, we've replaced quality players like Dorman and Mehmet with guys from Cowdenbeath and Sean Lynch, a guy who couldn't get a game for relegated Falkirk. I don't think Lennon has a clue what the SPL is about.

I like what he says, he interacts with the fans, and he wants to play nice football, but it's what is on the pitch that matters. It would be great to see nice football but sometimes the only way to stay up is by playing it defensive, something Gus got slated for. It's early days at least and a lot can change, but we look pretty poor, and we don't have many quality players left.

It's a good thing I've taken up amateur football this year, otherwise I'd be spending my money on the relegation tour. Next up is Ross County away in the League Cup, very tough game which I can't see us winning. 2-0 to the County, sadly I can't go up as my team are playing on the same night.

Flying is a word i'd use cautiously, St Johnstone taking the lead at a home match is enough to keep me on edge.

I thought they were going to steal it from us, but indeed it was the other way around.
