I don't care about the OF to be honest. The only times I've properly watched them is when they were playing St Mirren, Celtic have impressed a few times while other times have been gifted the win by the ref (Eddy Smith is fantastic at this), Rangers have probably been less impressive, but still good (which makes sense cause since we got promoted, Celtic have won the league each time).

As for other teams - United are loads better than they were two years ago, Inverness are poor now, Motherwell are good when they want to be, St Mirren have their best squad in years.

The first game at Greenhill Road is a sellout

I'm going to an open night tomorrow, we get to see our new season ticket seats and so on. Should be fun

What a shootout between Celtic and Dundee United. I'm so gutted that United lost, they were superb and it's not often you score 8 penalties in a row and still lose.

I have no interest in the final now

I agree, Celtic didn't deserve it tonight.

Ah well, we'll just have to hammer them in the final then won't we?

PS - anyone know when the cup final tickets go on sale.??

Not that I remember of.

I had starting celebrating when Boruc hit his penalty, I though it hadn't gone in. But no, the ball HAD to bounce over the line

Anyway, two days till the opening of St Mirren's new stadium!!!!!!

Borucs penalty was the best of the lot if he meant it.

Hope Celtic dont sign Flood it would end his carerr if he came to us. He is a good player.

Who are St.Mirren playing at the new ground?

I don't think Boruc meant it unless he was drunk (which I wouldn't put it past him). It be the stupidest thing to do to aim for the bar in a Semi Final shootout.

Some great penaltys though, especially Flood's first, Kenneth's, and a few others from either side.

I don't want Flood to move. The guy is quality when on form, and as mod_god said, if he moves it could hurt his career. Would also be a massive loss for United, as Zaluska is already going to leave.

St Mirren 1-1 Kilmarnock

So, the first game at Greenhill Road doesn't end as a 0-0 borefest, yey!

Was a good game overall, Saints deserved at least a point and would have won had it not been for the totally inept refereeing of Willie Collum.

Ah, Willie Collum. About two months ago, he only gave Celtic keeper Artur Boruc a yellow card for a disgraceful tackle on Dargo. And what a repeat of that today. This time, Killie keeper Alan Combe runs out and lunges into Dargo. Just like Boruc, this deserved a red card. And just like Boruc, Collum only gives a yellow card.

A disgrace. Collum should never referee in the SPL again. He has bottled 2 game deciding decisions in the space of 2 months. Anyone who has seen Boruc/Combe's tackle agrees it's a red card for violent conduct. And for such a big game today as well, he completely ruined it.

Some people will say he didn't send off Combe, just because he didn't send off Boruc (due to many people believing the Old Firm get special treatment from refs). Whether or not that is the case, Collum should never referee again. Just disgraceful, and he cost us a probable win.

And just to add to how disgraceful the SFA is along with their referee's, their own rules contradict each other. St Mirren currently have Scott Cuthbert, 21, on loan from Celtic. They have recetly tried taking Steven Smith, 23, on loan from Rangers.

Cuthbert qualifies as Under-21 when he plays for us, as a team must contain 3 (?) U-21s in their match squad. A team is only allowed to have one player over 21 on loan. For some stupid reason, Cuthbert is suddenly counted as over 21 so we can't sign Smith. The SFA have made a fool of themselves big time - again.

Stranraer FC are on the brink of collapse. They need all the help they can get. Any donations would be welcomed. This is the third oldest senior club in Scotland, and they will be no more if they don't get the help.

http://www.savestranraerfc.com/

Donations can be made to the site above. Together all Scottish football fans can save an historic club. After all, how would you feel if your club collapsed?

Found the site on a Scottish football forum (Pie And Bovril), a good few fans there have made donations through PayPal.

I feel sorry for the ref Wullie Collum getting all this stick. He used to be my R.E teacher in 1st year.

Haha seriously?

He deserves it though...his inability to be a proper ref has cost him big time. His failure to send off Boruc resulted in leaving him a lose-lose situation on Saturday when Combe hammered into Dargo. Any other ref would have pulled out the red, but Collum could either do that and be criticized further for not sending off Boruc, or not red card Combe and be criticized anyway. Serves him right for being too much of an idiot not to send off Boruc.

Yeah seriously. At St.Ambrose High School in Coatbridge.

We had him for like half of 1st year then he left to become a Ref.

Was a very good teacher when he left there was a petition with 1000+ names wanting him to stay. Crap ref but.

St Mirren have signed Left Back Ian Harte.

Brilliant signing for us, lots of experience, has played in a CL semi final, played in the Premiership, and mainly, we finally have a Left Back!!!

Seriously good signing though, considering Celtic wanted him two years ago, and that he can hit set pieces and so on.

All this hope means it'll end up as another Craig Dargo

Ian Harte rejected the offer at the last minute some stupid thing about family reasons. Why bother looking into a contract if you're no gonna take it?

Motherwell 1-1 St Mirren - Scottish Cup Last 16

Would have taken a draw before the match, and watching our performance, I'm glad we got the draw. Andy Dorman gave us the lead after 12 minutes, but the 'Well equalized in the 2nd half.

Motherwell dominated most of the match, passing was good and so on, but you could see how badly they missed Porter. They did everything right except deliver the final ball, a problem Saints have had recently. If anyone deserved to win, it would have been the 'Well.

The pitch was absolutely terrible. I don't know how the SPL can allow Motherwell away with that bog. You can barely play football on it.

Also I give credit to their fans for managing to generate an atmosphere like an SPL side should. Too many teams in this league with poor atmospheres, the worst I've seen being Hibernian and Falkirk. They made noise for big periods of the game, one of the better supports I've seen.
