Damn right Dave.

14 years service to Dunfermline. Where do you see loyalty like that nowadays or even them days (82-96)?Fantastic achievement. Stands at most appearances for our modest club and I can't see it ever being beaten.

Nowadays it's not the loyalty, it's the money.
Shame players can't stick the the clubs they love.

Only player i know of that's like this today, is Ryan Giggs, who still plays for Manchester.

EDIT:
Changed thread name, seems to be more general than just this season!

There is a few at Manchester Utd, but i still believe it's because of Ferguson being there 22 years and players want to keep playing for him.

Isn't there a Plymouth player thats been there for 10+ years. Paul Cotton or something?

No idea, i don't follow the premiership as well as Scottish 'fitba'.

Despite it being the biggest domestic cup in the world, it doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Well, here we are. What should be the last ever game at Love Street will be kicking off in under 3 hours. It's gonna be a very emotional day for Saints fans, as our team looks to win a historic 5th game in a row, and a happy farewell to the old ground.

You just realize what you're leaving behind when it's too late.

Well, the game was pretty poor. Finished 0-0, neither side looked likely to win.

Made a wee vid, not great but still, it's memories of the last match.

Goodbye Love Street. Me, and many other Saints fans, will not forget you.

I spent the afternoon in everyone's least favourite dump Den's Park watching my beloved home town club, Dunfermline suffer a 1-0 loss to my newly acquired city of residence club, Dundee.

Believe me, although i'm a resident of Dundee I have no affection for that club whatsoever.

Was pretty poor game, thought Pars tried to get the ball down and play football but Dundee weren't up for playing football it seemed, and just broke everything up. Not a good footballing side, but they are big strong and organised.

Rangers 3-0 ICT

Thistle all over us in first half, Mendes put a goal in 46th minute, a fantastic goal.
Also Boyd chasing his 40 after hitting 2 past ICT today.

Well, it may not have been the SPL today, But a few good games were on in the Scottish Cup 4th round.

The highlights are on tonight, i recommend watching:
Falkirk vs Queen of the South
Alloa vs Aberdeen
Ayr vs Kilmarnock.

These 3 are the ones i want to see, from hearing them on the radio, they must be good, especially the ayrshire derby (Killie vs Ayr)

Personally, i think he already has...

Blunders against the likes of Hibernian, Rangers and Dundee.
That new keeper that Celtic signed from Dundee Utd should replace him, Boruc simply isn't consistant enough.

Looking forward to the game tonight, though i can't help but feel an upset lurking...

Wouldn't count the rows just yet, it's 4 months till the end of the season and only 5 points at the top!

It's far from finished!

Loving the real radio phone in, comparing Boyd to Torres!
Madness.

St Mirren are through in the Cup after beating Brechin 3-1 on Tuesday

And I totally wasted a day out yesterday travelling to Edinburgh to watch St Mirren lose 2-0 to Hibernian. Worst performance since November, and the end to our good unbeaten streak.

Hibs have a poor atmosphere for the support they have. The singing was barely audible, and the cheer when they score would be outdone by 2nd Division sides.

Craig Dargo was back to his usual shocking form. Mark Howard was absolutely superb, and made no less than four fantastic saves to deny us taking a trashing. Hibs 2nd goal was brilliant.

Difficult mid table battle for Saints, we can compete for 6th place with Hibs, Killie and Motherwell.

Great to see a "diddy" side put 4 past Celtic. It always pleases me to see the sides uncared for put one by the Old Firm.

Also loving Boruc's antics at the moment. His latest against Dundee was total comedy, and any Celtic fan who still claims he's the "best in Scotland" is seriously deluded. Worst keeper in the SPL at this moment, even Falkirk's are doing better.

Ah well, end of a random post. This shall be capped off with me wondering how Rangers ended up with a player sent off at Ibrox, that was totally unexpected. As for St Mirren - not long now till the opener at Greenhill Road! (opens on the 31st)

The referee at Ibrox was a joke with those 2 red cards, but a wins a win.

I'd hardly call Aberdeen a diddy team, premier league side, capable of beating anyone with enough ambition, as shown today. I thought they played very well, especially in creating goal chances.

Motherwell slamming 4 past Dundee Utd was also unexpected!

I was at the Aberdeen Celtic match yesterday and credit has to go to Aberdeen!

Shown comittment and desire throughout the game.

Aberdeen have a star in Aluko.

I'm not calling Aberdeen a "diddy" team. I'm using the term that many Old Firm fans call the rest of the teams in Scotland. I do believe Aberdeen are one of the best sides in the SPL, along with Hearts and Dundee United.

Agreed with the Motherwell part. a United team on fire, unbeaten in many games, against a struggling Motherwell side. 4-0 to the 'Well was totally unexpected, well done to them (no pun intended).
