No it's the whole team. They're not allowed to drink the night before match day's and not allowed in city center night clubs. I think it's only because player's like McGeady and Brown always end up in fight's in town.
But to be honest a professional footballer shouldnt really be out on the lash the night before a game anyway its not very professional in my opinion.

I agree. There is time after the mach to enjoy yourself, and it's a bad image for youngsters if they hear about it. Same with smoking and that. If they want to do it, fair enough, but it's not helpful when you are supposed to be a top athlete.
Strachan is quite right to do that. Now it's up to the more troublesome players/coaches (Brown, McGeady, Boruc, Lennon) to prove they are responsible.

Yep i agree too.
All footy players enjoy an alcoholic beverage now and again, but the night before is just too much. Rangers stars such as Boyd and McGregor go out after home games on Saturdays, then rest Sunday and back to training Monday.
It's the only way to go, not to mention getting a brilliant sleep on a Sat night!

St Mirren 2-0 Inverness CT
Goals from Andy Dorman and Garry Brady give St Mirren their 2nd win in a row, and move them up to 8th in the League.
Dorman outpaced the ICT defender for the first, while Brady converted a cross around a minute into the 2nd half.
Could have been more goals for Saints. Inverness were absolutely disgraceful, worst team I've seen this season (including Dumbarton who we beat 7-0). They couldn't even control the ball, never mind do anything with it.
Good win, lets go for 3 in a row.

Shame Rangers couldn't capitalize on the results today. that Brines and his linesmen are a disgrace to football, too many wrong offside decisions cost us the game in my view.

Eddie Smith, the referee that has won Celtic two games in a few months, and who is also a well known Celtic fan, has yet again been appointed for a Celtic match. This time, Falkirk are the victims.
This is just more lunacy from the SFA. How you can constantly appoint a referee like that for Celtic matches, I do not know. Falkirk fans will be wasting their money when they enter The Falkirk Stadium tomorrow.
Just adds in more stupidity from the SFA. Earlier this week, Falkirk's manager John Hughes, and striker Michael Higdon were fined for nothing.
Hughes was absolutely livid the last time Falkirk played Celtic, as Celtic took the lead when Stephen McManus punched the ball into the net. The referee, who failed to notice this, interrupted Hughes' half time team talk. Higdon then proceeded to say "The referee is a Celtic fan". Both men were fined.
On the other hand, Walter Smith, the Rangers manager, got away with abusing a linesman for disallowing a goal scored by Kris Boyd for offside. The amusing thing was, the shot was hit after the whistle had blown, and the opposing team made no attempt to deny the goal. Smith was not even fined for this.
About time Scotland gets a good Footballing Association. The current one is a disgrace.

Beckham on his way to Ibrox, along with Ronaldinho! Brilliant!

Kilmarnock 0-1 St Mirren
Saints pick up their third win in a row as they beat Killie 1-0 at Rugby Park. Andy Dorman was the scorer, with his 2nd goal in two matches.
Saints lie 8th in the League, 1 pt behind Killie (who have a game in hand), and 4 pts clear of Motherwell, Falkirk, Inverness and Hamilton.
Bring on Hamilton next week for four in a row!

Short video here of St Mirren manager Gus McPherson and Chairman Stewart Gilmour being interviewed at the new stadium. Some real nice shots of the stadium in the video.

Can't wait for the move. Two games left at Love Street, and then our first game at Greenhill Road on the 31st January. I think the stadium looks fantastic. Seating design is superb, and no annoying pillars in the way.

To be fair though Dave they were in Love Street.
Shame it's still in Paisley though eh?
Seen that tomorrow morning Noel Hunt (former Dunfermline and Dundee Utd) is on Soccer AM tomorrow. Used to have Hunt on the back of my shirt, 5 years ago now though.

They tend to put the stadium in the poorest parts of Paisley, but I suppose it makes it cheaper to build
Love Street was ok, but I think Greenhill will be so much better in terms of atmosphere, view (no pillars), and it's smaller which also helps the atmosphere.
At least we have good memories - two Division 1 titles, last Bell's Challenge Cup, beating Rangers 1-0 for the last game vs them, thrashing Dumbarton 7-0 is our last League Cup match there - it's all good

I've got good memories of Love Street too, especially season 95/96. Maybe over young for that yoda.

Must've been around 3 or 4 at the time. Also didn't support anyone till Gus came in, cause I hadn't been to a game. I think it's been around 5 years now.
So what happened back then?

Oh, want a season run down?
Dunfermline, Dundee Utd, Morton, St Johnstone and Dundee all going for 1st Division title. Pars not even 3rd or 4th fave at times!! St Mirren were up there to start with but fell away (was in times of Barry Lavety at Buddies, he was good).
Dunfermline topped the table early with 5 wins from 5 including a 2-0 away win at Love Street.
Dunfermline fell away a bit sitting 2nd and 3rd for most of the season, then on January 8th 1996 Mr Dunfermline and the Pars captain at the time Norrie McCathie passed away in a tragic gas leak at his home (it's 13 years on but i still have a tear in my eye). Dunfemline had a few games postponed falling further behind in the league. The next game was against Clydebank which went 4-3. (Was easily the best and worst game i've ever been to, was a great game and finished 4-3 Dunfermline and was the eeriest of atmospheres ive ever experienced the minute's silence went for hours it seemed).
Came down to a scarily tight last two games and according to bookies Pars were 3rd faves to win it. We won at tannadice 1-0 then beat Airdrie 2-1 at home, was a brilliant day of pitch invasions and cleberations. More than a few tears were shed that year was crazy!

That's so emotional, even for a non-Pars fan. Great video, shame he wasn't there to take the title with the rest of you.

McCathie = legend...basically.
Hope he's playing on that big pitch in the sky with the O'Donnell, Cooper and Burns.
