im not sure if this has been posted yet......but i think it would be great to team up for doubles matches. not sure how it would work though. probably invite basis only. but even so....this would make way for all kinds of clans/teams/parnerships/friendships!

you'd be able to make the perfect overall player by combining some1's potting ability wih some1's pool mind!

Yea it's been mentioned a few times before, but I just had another variation on this, scotch doubles; where instead of a player taking a turn potting etc they only take a shot, so player one pots a ball, its then the other team mates shot etc. I think this would be enven better than normal doubles

i agree/ lets face it.........when some of us better players play.....it would be more like singles then doubles anyway.

Are we talking random pairings or choice in pairings?

Cos I mean if it is choice, then when 2 virts come together, they will be unbeatable!

When if it is random, everyone has an equal opportunity...

why? are virtuosos unbeatable when they play on tehir own... no... it will be harder for a virt or pro playin doubles than on their own as you cant plan ahead as much

Ok then...If pro's find it hard, how will inters find it?

I will support random pairings, as i believe that is a fair system...

exactlymy point- it will make no difference. an intermediate player playin against a virt would find it more difficult whether it was singles or doubles

Again, I believe that a doubles team that are random will give inters that are paired with virts a better chance of winning, and getting experience from the tourney...
