Yep the amount of points you can win/lose is about the same in the timeframe assuming average games of each.
There have been many reasons for deviations from the "game plan" in that old post, some things have slipped but many new things have been implimented

i take it back!!! ive been playing a lot of snooker recently and 10 points per game is far too much,have you seen how many virtuosos on there i beat 3 in my first tourny,would not even imagine that in pool,a virt on pool is always a top player and a mighty challenge to beat,on snooker however i can do it in my sleep,am already on 890 and i aint been playin long on there!!!!ill doubt i will get to 890 on pool!
