there is sometimes a debate in the rooms about swearing and that on this site about swearing and that and its sometimes OK if there are no kids in the chat room...

My view on this is that I dont mind people swearing in a game room as your only swearing at one person plus yourslef. As in the chat room, your swearing infront up to 50 ppl.

what is your view on this??

If you need to use swearing to get your point across, frankly, you're an imbecile.
Its not big and its not clever.

why swear? if people talked in an ammicable way then all things mentioned would get across properly, swearing is for people who want too sound 'hard'

How are you able to know that there isnt a young member in the chat room?

Personally I see no need for anyone to swear at all, just shows a limited vocabulary.

There is no need for swearing on this site and there never will be.

im not saying that every second word is swearing from me...i just think that rules arnt so strict if 2 people in a game room are happy for it to happen

then as your swearing and about to hit enter a person enters your room

guys give him a break. were australian. we cant help but swear on some occasions. were brought up with these words.

how many people have i seen type in 'ffs' in recent history. I dont swear on a regular basis.....only at myself and if im really peeved off, i go into a room where im alone until i calm down (sometimes)

im starting to regret bringing this up as people are taking this so seriously in a general chat forum

swearing should and aint allowed full stop, this is a family site in which we want to keep that way.
if you want to allow swearing in chat room then this is not the right game site for you, and as for players ages who knows how old anyone is, we could all be lying about it

Swearing shows that you have poor communication skills....

Also, if you feel like swearing, do it out loud AT HOME and dont stress it in the site...

If it were up to me, evry swear word would be banned altogether...

it is not good mate, thats why we have mods and admin to boot these players who swear and break the rules.

To be honest, if people swear now they shouldn't ever be booted or banned. All swear words are starred out... therefore how can any stars ever hurt anyone?
