sorry only just so this post, erm ye he came online ermm 2 days ago i think and told me and gamble he was leaving for a month or so to do "stuff" dunno what that means but he will be back i think

First to 3 frames wins.
Play each person once.
The top two in each group will progress to the quarter-final stage.

The following comes from page 3:

Players are ranked by wins, where a win is when an player defeats his/her opponent 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2. (Sorry)

If two or more players have the same number of wins, then the tie in favour of the player with the greater/greatest frame difference, i.e. the number of frames won minus the number of frames lost.

If players have the same number of wins and the same frame difference, then the player who was won more frames gets the nod.

If these all fail to break the deadlock, then the result between the players in question will decide it.

Back on page 1 I had grandiose plans to have a league with divisions. I've abandoned that now because there will never be sustained interest in such a system. So each season will be a start-from-scratch affair.
