well said i mean the game is kinda easy its like special ed pool huge pockets and balls... the table in real life isnt like that at all i mean i know this is "funky" pool but perhaps we could have a 8 ball uk pro with the more realistic table that way everyone will be happy, but why are people so scared to change it.. i mean makes the game more fun and challanging and if ur that good then it shouldnt matter.. and for the rules, i really dont care lol but i also agree with spinner a trial one with the snooker table would be nice just to see what its like

if the game is easy for you its easy for the other person,so you will have to play tacticly and be consistent with your pots,thats what makes the game as good as it is..........as for the look of the game maybe a few changes could be good.

they still do play 2 shot carry in pool teams by mine in liverpool so surly they must do in other places and i think 2 shot carry is better.. i agree wif you on the table is a joke lol you shouldnt be able to pot along the cushin

i personally think that the uk 8 ball table should be exactly same as us 8 ball one, for simple fact you shouldnt be able to pot a ball along the cushion into middle poctet, apart from that, there aint anything wrong with it, the carry rule is part of game, and is played in around 90% of clubs around country lol...

Please remember what this thread is really about.
Nothing to do with changing rules or table layouts people! Noone complained about the asthetic changes to the US tables, so as psmon said, why not spruce up the UK one too

why cant it just be left alone and how it is yes on the us tables they do have jaws that make it harder to pot balls but they all cant be the same having jaws lets have a table thats a bit different to us tables.

Its about "sprucing it up" to look a bit better and more in line with the rest of the site.
