You make a valid point whatever, and I have often thought that some of the posts on here are pretty irrelevant or unnecessary (especially regarding the PMSL and ROFL posts - I'm looking at you here Paula ). However, what other people chooce to post has no bearing on you whatsoever. You may disagree with it, but you don't have to post in that manner if you don't want to. If someone else chooses to do so, it doesn't have any impact on you at all, so I personally don't see a problem with them, even if they are irksome on occasions. Live and let post I say.

nah, normally it wouldnt bother me. but my well constructed posts get deleted sometimes cos they 'cause arguements', yet their crappy laugh-spamming posts get kept. im saying its unfair. the majority is over-riding us.

If you feel your posts are being unfairly treated, then it is something you should take with the admin using the 'Contact us' (find it in the help centre).

This is a fun site, and so the mods should be perhaps a bit more lenient when it comes to a bit of what you consider spamming, whilst cutting out posts which are liable to provoke other users to argue and flame. They are only human so their judgement may be off, but I for one believe all the moderators (and admin) do a sterling job of keeping the right balance between fun and serious discussion, and should be praised for all their hard work.

There is nothin unfair about offensive posts being deleted, regardless of how well they are constructed.

If you create a thread you feel worthwhile, it can sometimesend up deleted simply due to the nature of those who post after you. This is no reflection on you, or your idea, just the inability of others to "get it" or communicate without resorting to personal abuse.

I've lost several threads i thought were valuable due to this over the years, sadly there isnt much you can do about it.

Evolution took a forked path, unfotunately.

Serioulsy, I think that TWICE maybe three time that you (whatever) have refered to YOUR threads being deleted, im guessing this is what this whole thread is about really!

Spinner, you have explained things in a way that we should all be able to understand and relate too, and because things like who posts what and where, and bad examples from mods now being mentioned, id say this thread has run its course and cap it before it turns... BUT....then is it going to be a case of I TOLD YOU SO from the creator??


Whatever, id take the advice of what pther people have said, and try get it resolved via complaints.

whoever says 'use contact us' is obv ignorant, and has never used it themselves. its useless, you all know it.
if a mod has done summit, the admins are gonna stick by em whether they were right or wrong in their action. using contact us takes 3 days just to here the same crap from sum1 higher up. no thanks.

Funnily enough I have never had cause to use contact us, as I've never had any problems on this site. If you don't want to take that route and report it, then you'll just have to accept the situation, because without bringing it to the admin's attention it won't be dealt with. This thread isn't any more likely to get the response you want, so this has been a wasted exercise for you. I suggest it be capped.

Im sure your wrong about the mods getting supported by Admin whether they are wrong or not...you saying if, like, 20 ppl complained about the same mod, that Admin would just 'turn a blind eye' cos they help out here?...I doubt that.

Whoever says use contact us is sensible.

Contact us is not useless. All enquirys/complaints are dealt with.
