£200 pounds for a fully functional 360 now. 2/3 games and two wireless controllers. Think this is now getting interesting........

i looked on ebay prices are amazing.

This is what i got. My mate brought a ps3 1 month ago for almost 500 for the whole package. about a week ago he was desperate for money (was going to aussi land) and sold me it for £300!

What anyone has failed to mention is that at the moment games have not come along to utilise the full potential of the xbox360, never mind the ps3. I dont dispute the ps3's superior potential..but by the time thats realised im willing to bet microsoft will have come out with the xbox720 (or whatever they decide to call it) or have it in the pipeline with a far superior spec than the ps3, thats the nature of technology.

For me, at the moment i cant really see a vast difference in the graphics of either console, and i want a new console for uni and its going to be the xbox 360 based on cost and how impressed i am with its online features, as well as the fact that i've got a few mates with it!

Difference in graphics are very minimal, the playstation 3 does have slightly more improved graphics than an xbox, but it's how good the game actually is at the end of the day...

But yeh, playstation are newcomers in online gaming, Microsoft have been doing it for years even before the xbox so they know what they are doing so to speak.

Above all, prices are now at a competitive point where Playstation can be bought for about a 100 quid more along with 2 games.

Sony may be losing a hell of a lot of money, but it's their own fault for not knowing their boundaries in terms of machine price.

theres an offer over here (Ireland) at the minute for a ps3 and two games for 400 euro which is roughly £280 which aint too bad

Though the Xbox is going cheap these days, but in the long run it looks like PS3 has another fan.

I got mine from Woolworths for £375.

Thinking about trading in all my PS2 games and the console. Then putting it towards PS3.

I think it's worth it. In my opinion the PS3 is still overpriced, but I picked up a decent deal.

I don't have a HD TV where I play it but the graphics are still good, and the online play is VERY addictive.

It is a very good machine!
