if your on about gettin an xbox360 i'd def go with the hall lol

also the ps3 is the cheapest blu ray player around at the moment with no risk of gettin outdated as any new additions to the newer blu rays can be added by using the firmwire updates through your internet connection

give it time and you'll be seein graphics that the xbox can't produce

p:s incase you didn't know the blu ray is the successor to dvds assumin the hd dvd doesn't outsell it.

1. I've played them both and ps3 seemed lag free compared to xbox360 *cough* pro evo *cough*

2. the 3 processors won't always do the same as ps3's 7

4. you can hardly compare a free demo to a full game you just wait until gran turismo 5 comes out.

1. The PSN is not as good as XBL but it's good enough, and free. A big update planned around October (firmware 2.0) which is around the release of Home will improve the PSN substantially.

2.No way can the 360 do the same (note: i am not saying the 360 is a bad console) as the Ps3. Firstly, the ps3 can play blu-ray discs which not only means great HD films but also up to 50Gb of storage for massive games (the 360's discs have 9Gb's lol) and uncompressed audio and video. Secondly, the Ps3's cell processor detroys the 360's in terms of power and complexity. Also, utilisation of the 7 SPU's on the PS3 (360 has 3) will make for some unbelivable CONT.

Well i was undecided as to what console to purchase, but _steven_ and anth0ny have me convinced- ps3 it is!

Just seems like the ps3 has much more potential then the x-box 360.

CONT. software in the near future (KZ2, anyone?).
Finally, at the moment the 360's software is probably better than the PS3's at the moment. This is likly to change by spring 2008 due to some killer games coming out such as Haze, LBP, MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Killzone 2, Lair and many others. The only 360 exclusives that interest me at the moment are probably Halo 3 and Mass Effect.

3. Nintendo has done well with the Wii but you've got to realise that they are not in it for the long haul. They have created a souped up gamecube with an innovative controller (and it's cheap). I mean, come on, very few Wii games have online play which is the future. Expect to see the Ps3 and 360 dominate in the future and people start to get bored with their Wiis (that sounds wrong lol)

4. Well, yes, of course a fully conpleted next-gen game is going to be better than a one track demo running on a PS2 engine :S. See the E3 GT5 trailer and you will be astounded.Peace out

Well i have never played on a ps3 but everyone i no that has played on one said that the 360 is nothing compared to a ps3 so if it was me I'd go for the ps3.

Also alot of people have been having trouble with the 360s it was on the news a while back that there are alot of problems with them because they brought them out 2 earlier my mates broke and he had to pay 90 quid because it needed a new mother board so i defo wouldn't recommend one.

Yeah, estimated reports suggest that the failure rate was 30%! Even if it is half this number it is still unacceptable. The good news is that Microsoft have woken up and are now offering a 3 year warrenty and refunds for replaced consoles.

Ps3 truly is the way!

Its true when the 360 arrived it was a great step above the previous generation of consoles.

But when the PS3 arrived it felt like another step! Not just competition, but a whole new standard.
