is hamilton to good for alonso??

I think to say Hamilton is too good is incorrect. I think today he was better, last week he was better also, but there's still along way to go, and Alonso is one of the best drivers in F1.

Good job though, well done Hamilton.

Kovalinen had a good drive, also Button still showed that sharpness at the back of the pack!

alonso is one of the best, but he hasnt been able to do hamilton yet has he?

There's certainly going to be some good battles to come between Hamilton & Alonso!

I missed the highlights, so Hammy made it 2 in a row, well done to the lil fella, i must say he is slowly growing on me.

Interestng debate, i certainly agree that Hamilton is an superb talent and driver...i also think we shouldn't count Alonso out until its over.

One thing about Hamilton though...did you hear what he said about the drivers at the back, said he was frustrated about the time it takes to pass the 'monkeys' at the back.

I personally feel thats a supremely arrogant statement, many of the drivers at the back of the grid are very talented just havn't had the breaks that Hamiltons had and are driving a lot slower cars!

I agree fata, the only reason Hamilton is as good as he is, is because of the car.

Some members might remember when Mika Salo stood in for Micheal Schumacher a few years back, Salo was great!!

To be honest, drivers for teams such as Spyker and Toro Rosso have had a great career in racing, just the cars at this point are bringing them down a bit.

to be fair, i never used to watch F1 racing, but since lewis hamilton has come on the circuit, i have followed F1 quite alot, i have to admit, for his age, he is one hell of a driver!.. better that the other three brit's we got! ( button, coultard and davidson).

the next F1 is this sunday, not sure where though... but apparantly ferrari have had the benifit of the doubt on this track!... but hey, hamilton wasn't around then.. CMON hamilton!!

I actually think Button is our best driver, and one of the best drivers in F1! Very smooth, and rarley makes a mistake.

I think Hamilton saidthe things he said because he was angry at being held up on a number of occasions. It almost cost him the race at one point because a car wouldn't move out his way! So maybe that was him saying something out of anger, remember he had just raced in a gran prix, he would of been exausted!

i feel so sorry for button. definatly the best biritsh driver, possibly the best driver in f1, sadly the car isnt up to much and they always seem to say it will be ready in the second halfof the season it to late then though lol. like last year, if he had the car he had in the second half of the season, for thw whole season, he would have won the championship

hamilton is a good driver, but i think its the first season luck, and second season syndrom will definatly kick in next year IMO,

another thing, if you put button in hamiltons car, he would be un-touchable

I think Button would be better in Alonso's car. Hamilton is a ragety driver, likes to slide the wheels, Button is smooth, i like both styles. I think Hamilton really is just a very good driver, he has an amazing style that always entertains!

That has to be the best qualifying session i have ever seen, all down to the last seconds, and Hamilton once again pulling something out the bag when he seemed down and out!
