A bit truth to that I guess - it's easy to judge drivers unfairly, not taking into account the cars they are driving.

It goes both ways though, some drivers are overrated because people have only seen them in bad cars and think they would do wonders if just driving a good one... (like Button.... *runs and hides*)

likewise, i always thought Button was a good driver, yet he never had the reliable or quick car!

Webber has always been a good qualifier. He's never shown his true talent in races.

I do believe Button has shown how good he is. Not many drivers can jump into a car, never tested in the wet and come a very respectable 3rd.

I do think Brawn will be fighting a battle though. Different tracks cause different tests though, and I'm sure Brawn will be working on new packages as the season goes on to improve an already good car.

I don't think Button is half as good as he's been bragged up to be, but that's just me

Many many drivers would been competitive the first two races in a car that was THAT much better than anything else on the grid.

I agree brawn will have to step it up to stay in the top... which is a good thing in the interest of racing

That is my point, he doesn't prove he can drive in races is because the cars he has driven in have been un-reliable, so he can't prove himself, hopefully this year. (don't forget he is driving with a leg that was lot long ago crushed by a car)

And also suffers from terrible crash luck, as 99.451% of the Piquet and Nakajima crashes seem to hit him

Speaking of crashes, Sutil was so unlucky.

LMAOOOOO! HAHA!

Piquet surely has to go? Alonso's good, but surely he's just terrible.

Jan, you can have your opinion. But your wrong. Button is one of the best and smoothest on the grid. He's won a race with a mediocre car before now. Today was hard to judge - Brawn told him to play safe and take the points, that's what he did.

Suppose we'll know next race how good he is....

(In comparison to the Red Bulls)

You know the biggest shock. Kovalainen completed a lap. Not only did he complete a lap, he completed a race. And not only that, he got some points

And I feel sorry for Sutil, Ferrari could have been the last team to score, had he not crashed out

But Sutil deserves some points, mainly for Monaco last year when Raikkonen took him out

Ferrari will not change there diffusers until the Barcelona race, and they have said they will only work forward for next years car.

This seems to me that Ferrari have thrown in the towel already for this season, they will find it hard to win this years championship and the constructors as well.

In my mind, Massa is a defiantly going to have a seat for next year, but the iceman is gone. Who will his replacement be though, maybe Vettel

lol I know - I'm sure he's a decent driver, maybe even more.

I'm just tired of the "genious if he only had a good car" label he's been stuck with for so long.

Now he HAS a good car so finally we'll find out

I'll eat your old socks, without any ketchup, if he wins the championship.

If the red bull keeps their current level I would hold my breath for a Vettel move in any direction. Besides I think he signed two more years (09 and 10) when he moved to red bull.

Well done to Toyota 1st and second.

I was annoyed that webber is 18th, was clearly blocked sutil and he admitted that he didn't give him the racing line, he was clearly caught be webber so the smartest thing to do is let him have the racing line.

Well i notice that Mclaren and Ferrari had some pace in this race, hopefully it will be a good race!

Also note that both Toyotas are extremely light.

Vettel is probably the strongest car on the grid right now, in terms of position vs. fuel load.

I agree with Jan regarding the best car.

Don't where the Brawn speed is. They seem to think they'll have it over a full race but the red bull to me looks pretty awsome and smooth.

Either way I'm looking forward to it.

Well we can already tell that it won't be a wet race, but it might be a sandy one, yeah i agree with jan that vettel is the quickest car!

Also keep in mind, sorry John lol, that red bull has a far better driver than either of the Brawns

I just heard that Red bull will be the last to install the double decker diffusers, apparently the diffusers are going to be hard to install in on the Red bull!
