Yes for sure! Vettel deserves this so much.
Also keep in mind that despite looking strong, the red bulls have the conservative diffuser design and will probably improve further compared to the brawns in the races to come.
Do you think they will ever change there diffusers, or keep with the conventional one?

They will definately be changing theirs, as will Ferrari in Barcelona. It will not be too long before Mclaren bring out an updated one also.

i know Ferrari and Mclaren will, but do Red bull need to, after today's race, or was the win only because vettel and webber are class driver in rain

But they need to stay ahead and the diffuser is guaranteed to give atleast a few tenths per lap, then they have to do it. Horner has already confirmed that they are working on one.
But the Red Bull is generally a very quick car without it so it will be exciting to see the difference! (They were 1st and 2nd in the dry on quali 2 yesterday, which shows they were quicker than the Brawn)

How do you know it is guarenteed to make the car faster?
Might upset the balance of the car with a new diffuser

that is what i'm worried about, i don't want red bull stuffing up there great car balance!
If they are quicker than brawn why change, common sense.
They better test it before they race, not like Alonso who just put it on without testing!

Correct. Renault and McLaren featured interim diffusers in this race and will have a completely updated package later. As will literally all other teams, except the three disputed ones of course.

That's the challenge, but one they have no choice but to face. Racing the remainder of the season without a competitive diffuser design is not an option for any team really.
To add to this challenge also keep in mind the crucial detail that teams are no longer allowed to test between race weekends during the season anymore - making it a LOT harder to try out and confirm new aero packages.

The only window for testing are the free practices, qual and race.
Also, when adding something that gives such a HUGE down-force boost, any associated problems you simply have to face and deal with. It's really a no-brainer. Besides, no one can hardly claim his call was a bad one, given the qual and race performance (although the race doesn't say much)

I just know they said they would up front. Whether they ended up doing it or not I haven't paid attention to.

Fair enough, but could it ruin the already good car balance of the Red Bulls

Could? Sure.
Has to? No.
A better diffuser means more rear down-force = shifted balance = need for compensation.
At this point in the season (again because of the no-testing rule), the most realistic approach to this is simply to run more front wing compared to rear wing. They would of course preferred a completely revised board, but very hard to do without more test time.
A huge gain regardless, since the diffuser produces rear down-force a lot cheaper than the wing does (costs less drag). Also keep in mind that rear down-force is what is in short supply already in terms of wings. The current aero rules means running a lot more rear wing vs front than they were last year. A slightly less hopeless diffuser greatly helps compensate for that and bring things back in balance.

I hate rolling starts...
Good race from RBR today, and another horrible one for Ferrari, can't even remember the last time they started this bad!

I just can't believe Mark Webber finished a race let alone come in on the podium!
09:01 Sun 19 Apr 09 (BST) [Link]
If counting the first two races only, the last time was in the mid-80ies. If counting 3 races, I'm sure that's another couple decades back
I hate rolling starts too, they take something away from the race, but they are better than having only 6 cars make it through T1 in one piece...

No kidding
I personally think that Webber is a good drive, yet he has never had a reliable car, until now, well we will see how reliable the Red bull is.
Or maybe i am just bias because i'm aussie and he is!
