i get lag sometimes, its usually when the internet is being used the most by other people(the internet highway is like a transport highway, quiet times all is smooth, but come rush hour...everything slows down) and in the holidays its lunchtime onwards and when the kids are back in school its usually from 3:30 pm (ish) until about......well when the little darlings are tucked up in bed...or decide too hang about the streets.

I cant see it being Vista on his new PC as it should have enough memory to handle it????

Possible that Vista isnt all its cracked upto be as yet, conflicting with other things etc so therefore little glinches need 'ironing out', Im no expert, Just a theory thats all

Ive got vista on my laptop! its the best trust me! its got way cooler features than xp! its abit harder to use though but gets easier after abit

its still possible it could be an operating system.

Im sure Vista is good, i wasnt saying its not, at the end of the day the operating system that works best for an individual, 'is the best' in there opinion.

Just offering 'possibilties' to a solution, after all Im sure XP caused problems at 1st launch, then things got better

Lets keep away from whats best etc and try and solve the issue in hand

Spinner any bad things that will make it lag?

I have never ever had problems on funkypool and funkysnooker even i did id sort it out in abit 5 mins! anyway domi i had vista on my laptop funkypool worked fine!
