Put on an option where people dont ask for asl. I usealy just close the window but lately, im getting revenge for not saying my ASL. Im being called, g*y, puff (they meen the more rude meaning) and other rude names??

Is there any surgestion for how we can stop it if we dont want to be ASL'ed??

I have a personal dislike for this too, but it is a fact of life in the online world.

I usually reply letting them know people have profiles so its not necessary.

If i get a PM with nothing but "asl" i generally just close it.

Other than ignoring PM's theres not a lot can be done.

I Reckon 99.9% people hate the question ASL?

I usually say....sorry dont do asl.....and normally they accept that....if they persist i just say look in my profile as spinner pointed out

Just simply say no, and close the window, the person asking would get the hint then

i think it should have people's asl in the pm window and that way they won't ask for asl.

I just say 'not interested' and close the window. 90% of the time they take the hint, the other 10% get booted

I think we need a new abbreviated reply to use in response.

If everyone reading this thread starting using it, then it'd soon spread and be the accepted polite refusal.

I think it should be 'need to know basis' (ntkb), to not only rebuff, but also make them think I'm James Bond.

I hate it too, especially in a tournament game - read my profile and stop bothering me. Saying ASL is as bad as swearing and people who do it should be banned.
