i dont think the torries were ever for terrorism, but i can guarentee the torries wont win, simply as labour have been cheating, theyve moved my village of 8000 ppl most of whom are likely to vote tory, from a constituancy where those cpl of thousand tories in bulkington could swing it, into a safe tory seat 10 miles from the village

Haha, typical politicians. I really hope the tories don't get elected next time though. I don't trust Cameron as far as I can spit. Also, he just doesn't know what he's talking about. Some of the tory policies are laughable at best. Although I'm not a big Labour fan either, they have done a much better job than the last tory government (ignoring Iraq, which the tories supported anyway). For some reason, people seem to forget that. The lib dems don't stand a chance really. They were on the rise under Charles Kennedy, but elected a donkey to replace him.

Aren't Labour and Tory policies practically the same anyway...they are both central on the political spectrum (apparently)

Which is why leader image and the media influence voters the most.

Which is why we are becoming more and more like our cousins over the sea!

I don't know if anyone else takes Cameron seriously? However, what else we got to vote for? Is there any politician who actually wants to help save the NHS?

And i shouldn't bother talking about the lib dems, some of there policies was ok, but others wa' outta this world!

This is why, tragically, i can't see myself voting next time, i voted Labour last time just to try and stop the Tories getting in, but it seems new Labour are the old Tories, and new Tories are still a bunch of dinosaurs!

HELP!

Not a bad idea! The NHS is one of the big things for me, how are us Brits meant to think we are better than places such as America etc if we get rid of the one thing that helped define this country. The other thing is, there is a growing trend with giving 'experts' jobs within the NHS when every Doctor Nurse and Patient(s) had said what we actually need is less Managment and more medical staff. Seems they (goverment) want to pursue their own agenda, and not listen to the real expert advice which is the people that work on the ground!

*Thinks of a suitable name for his party*

And who will front it, they need to be squeeky clean.......?

Okay, maybe not policies as such, just their general stance on things. Tackling crime, immigration etc. I get the impression Cameron has been too sheltered and doesn't have a clue about working class life. Prescott for PM

Also, speaking as a future dentist, Labour are actually doing an okay job of revamping NHS dentistry. The tories would probably end up messing it all up.

Are you having a laugh? Do you know how hard it is to get NHS treatment with a dentist!? Labour have made it worse if anything, and it's not getting any better, anytime soon!

And if you feel this country needs a fat lying scroundrer for a PM then i think this world really has gone to pot, just cause 2 jags/jabs prezzie talks like he's working class, let's just remember he's not, and hasn't been for some time now!

I agree John..the NHS is unique to Britain, one of the few things that like u sed defines who we are as a country!

Also you where mentioning the more specialised jobs they are giving people...the goverenment are saying they are crying out for more nurses, yet i doubt when i have finished my 3 years of training there will actually be a decent job for me to go into!!!

The Prescott thing was just a joke (see laughing pool ball).

The general public don't see what's happening under the surface with dentistry like we do. Before the new NHS contracts were introduced in 2005, dentists were paid 'per treatment'. Because of this, they had to rush patients in and out of the surgery to earn anything close to what they could privately. That meant sometimes substandard treatments, and also a massive flow of dentists switching from NHS to private only. This was under the system introduced by the Tories might I add. THAT'S why there aren't many NHS dentists. The new contract has slowed down the process and with some fine tweaking, is starting to win dentists round AND improve treatment standards. Without Labour's intervention, soon there would be NO NHS dentists. THEN try finding one.

Also, dentistry is actually a bit of a victim of it's own success. Because the standard is rising constantly and public education on oral health is better than it has ever been, far more people are registering with dentists than ever before. There is actually a general shortage, although the problem is less severe in the private world. Labour have asked universities to take in more dental students to combat this. Obviously, that will take at least a few years to fix, as first universities need to expand their facilities, and then train the new students (it's a 5 year course, plus vocational training). Things should start to improve in 5 to 10 years, as long as the tories don't meddle with things if they get in power.

First of all, let's get one thing clear. I HATE THE TORIES! LOL! Just wanted to be totally clear with you, my Dad is an ex-miner, soooo i don't think i need to explain myself any further!

As for the smile at the prescott gag, sorry could of been read either way!
My reaction is like that cause someone actually tried argueing to me that Prescott is good for this country.

Thanks for your facts on dentistry, as you would of guessed it's not my field, but from what i last heard it would get worse before it get's better?

It's nothing new for Tories to wreck something, Railways, Gas, etc etc.. however Labour worry me with some of there policies they have in at the moment, least not the NHS! Also schools, they are now gonna do a lottery for children, split them from their friends and take away the choice from the people that matter!
