Actually, I think he is well within his rights. He can create any user name he likes within the guidelines. The only reason these names still exist is that you've all given the guy such attention!

If a staff name is copied or imitated, for obvious reasons it has to go. We could never monitor every single user name and it's relativity to another.

Though I don't think positively on his actions, I don't see anything that can be done about it barr ignoring it. The second you stop giving him such glory he'll get bored and go away.

If the user is banned it will be for different reasons.

Its only been brought to light recently because id asked a mod to have a word asking him to stop telling ppl he's my sister. He created justsumgurl AFTER that, which is when i posted asking ppl not to mistake him with me.
I'd just like to point out(check if u like) that is was ages ago when he created the 1st of his "Justsums" and id never mentioned it before.If he was going to get bored and go away he would of done so by now. One more point i actually LAUGHED with him over it at 1st, ive in no way annoyed/encouraged or give him any attention in order for him to create names that are so simaliar to mine.

I think he needs dealing with, i think if someone is copying someone else's name they should be dealt with. I don't think you've took into account what this person is doing magic, he's bordering scary, what if that was a younger user being copied? It could really scare them.

I really think this is a prime example of someone impersonating someone else, and should be dealt with.

Well we have no solid proof that he's impersonating me John...BUT he cud DEFO be mistaken for me. Whether or not he'd say he was me im not sure about..but yes..i get where ur coming from.

Yes they can use the name Justsumgurl if they want to. But to take it to the extreames of using the same profile information and picture...isnt that taking things just a bit too far!!

i think there needs to be a fine line drawn, and moderators need to come up with a unified way of moderating these copycats. I think had the name been justsumlad and he did not in any way relate himself to you or pretend to be connected to you in any way, it would be acceptable. I think that when it gets to the point where they are actually impersonating there is a problem. I.e. copy user pics, contacting the people you usually chat with and saying its you, saying they are your sister/cousin/etc. i think that is the time when a banning or something else needs to be done.

its innocent enough to have a superpool named after superpooler ... but if it turns into impersonating or even stalking..something needs to be done.

In this case the similarity of names is just a small part of the users bad behaviour.
