Anyone who lives in the british isles that is registered/born here is classed as 'British'.
However iam English , Stella is Welsh Stevo is Scottish , But....we are all British citizens, some people confuse British as being English, which is incorrect.
Northern Ireland??? well thats a different matter,, there are your loyalists and republicans pending wether they class themselves as Irish or British (ulster)
Magic however is from southern ireland and is exempt from being British (lucky him lol) correct me if im wrong magic

But I want independence too. I know what you're saying tibnab, and I'm certainly a resident of the British Isles, but I consider myself English, not British.

Thing is, Scotland is the occupying force. The PM is Scottish, so are half the cabinet, and so is the next PM.
So theres a Scottish Parliament, and a 'British' Parliament full of Scots.

Where's the English Parliament?

We definitely need independence from Scotland.
