But then that would make normal rank even more meaningless than it is now! not to mention that having a seperate rank would be exactly the same as it is now, just with a different number, so thats completely pointless!

How many players are on isnt relevant if you simply make the games ranked as normal. As i said, the points you win for the tourney will be relevant to the size and difficulty thereof. Simple!

Unless we have a tourny rank system, as we have a normal rank, when u enter a tourny u start on 765, and if u win it, it goes up by normal but it doesnt affect ur normal rank, so if u keep entering tournys u can build ur tourny rank up aswell, if ya get me?

As long as we use only one ranking system, and rank the tourney games as normal, then everyting levels out fine...

I think thoughout the tourny and the people you play at the end of that tourny u get all the points that you earned just like ranked games and depends what your rank is.

This would mean that you would earn the points that would would get in rank games and the losers dont lose nothing.

Like the weakest link, 1 winner and the rest goes away with nothing...

But the mopst important thing is that people have to lose points as well or eventually we all end up with 999.9 rank!

Thats a huge part of the idea, so that virtuoso's have to play against people on 600, so it makes the rank table more realistic too, and makes everything more fun in general!

Remember, if he had, say, 850 rank, and played a player on 600 in each round, and always won 2-1, he could win the tourney but end up with less rank than he started with!

With tourny's ranked what about with newbies who are really pro's that just keep re'creating or that have other pro account's would'nt be fair with the points thing unless it wiuld be set points like the same win or lose for every game.

Players are only allowed 1 account now aren't they?
