Gloucester VS Cardiff Blues final!

Gloucester are chokers so Blues shouldn't have too much trouble turning them over. Look what Tigers did in the Premiership final a couple of years ago - demolished them in the end, as most teams in finals do.

However I'm always wrong about things of late.....
(As in predicting scores)

Henson, Gough and Tindall not looking good for the Lions at the moment. Heart goes out to them. Gough will be a huge loss IMO!

Love him or loathe him, you can't help but feel somewhat sorry for Gavin Henson. He looks certain to miss the Lions Tour through injury, and is reportedly considering his future in the game. I hope he doesn't retire, I want to see more from him.

Indeed. It's a sad shame to see him go through injury after injury. Another Jonny Wilkinson.....

And I apologise in advance for being cinical, but I don't see why he's thinking about his future in the game? Most other sportsman just get up and get on, particularly in rugby as it's just one of those games. Maybe he should take a leaf out of Jonny's book - get up and get on.

He won't be going on the Lion's tour. What are the odds for Wilkinson to make it!??? (LOL)

John...from DT thread, ye the 'Trevster' had a life ban reduced to 2 years but the age he was at the time he was never going to play again when the ban had expired. Shame he was overlooked for the national team for most of Gatland and O'sullivan's reign..various reasons all in his autobiography..a decent read but for the light hearted!

Almost like 'our' very own Matrin Corry.

Never really really done anything un-sporting in his long career then he's banned for 6 weeks (I think it was) for ACCIDENTAL eye gouging.

Now, it's either intentional, in which it's a lengthy ban and rightfully so. Or it's an accident, which is part of the sport and people should forget about it.

Unfortunatly Ospreys decided to whinge about it, first of all blaming the wrong guy, and when video evidence showed it was Corry it was decided it was actually an accident, but gave him a ban anyway. It's a shame as it's his last season in rugby and a bit of a shame in which to end a clear career.

I'm hoping it will gee him up for a grand finish though!

3 players that should have definatly booked their place on the Lions tour:

Easter
Cueto
Croft

It's a shame Vesty is overlooked for England because I think he'd be in with a shout at a Lions tour. Great at 10 and 12, wonderful skill and pace. I know I'm a Tigers fan so I'm going to boast about our players, but him and Croft have pulled Tigers out the gutter. (With a little help from an All Black, Hamilton, and the Frenchman, Dupey)

The best rugby by far is being played in the Guinness Premiership at the minute. The games are expansive and close! I'm loving it at the minute, one of the best seasons by far for a long time.

I'm going to Tigers VS Bath next week in the quarter final European cup game, however it's being played at Leicester City's stadium, where we don't have a great record.....

Fingers crossed!

John, why have you not moaned about White's red card yet, and why Sheridan got away with murder (well, a punch)

And then said, who needs 15 men anyway, we can win with 14. lol

Bristol down anyway, as Worcester thumped Saracens

I got you to say it for me!

I've just read that White is going to appear before the RFU panel tomorrow. I haven't read anywhere that Sheridan has been cited - which annoys me considering he was the one who instigated the fight.

But as you've stated, who needs 15 when we can demolish with 14

Bristol where always going to be the ones to go. Sad for them. But it has to be someone!

White's given a two week ban, means he misses the Bath match on Saturday. Sheridan - nothing! Bloody typical.

Starting to feel like I'm talking to myself.....

Tigers have a big game today - I feel a jinx because of where we're playing, but hopefully, with our current form, we can see of Bath!

I'll be leaving at about 4:30pm, have a pint, then off to the game.

Ospreys are without a few players. Byrne will be a big miss for them, not looking good having to travel to Munster....

Blues done what was expected of them, they should make the final now.

Leicester overcome Bath, didn't watch it myself, but from what I've read it seems it was a very exciting game !

The Ospreys are going to get smashed today, that's all I have to say on the matter

Looking forward to the Quins vs Leinster game, that will probably be the more exciting of todays games.

Tigers game was unreal... didn't think we were going to do it. I must say, I've never quite seen an atmosphere like it at a Tigers game, the fans were awsome, both sets!

I'm a very happy man at the moment, even if my head is slightly sore....

EDIT: Just seen the Ospreys score..... blimey!

Poor Ospreys, absolutely obliterated, as expected though

Leinster ground about a very good win despite playing distinctly average. I just fear that Munster are gonna beat them relatively easy, though playing at Croke Park may inspire some of the Leinster players that bit more. Here's hoping.

Leicester vs. Cardiff should be interesting. Leicester have it all to do, to try and be the first team to beat Cardiff in the competition this year. Having said that, I think they will start slight favourites for the game, they are in just as good form as Cardiff. Should be another tense, tight, epic encounter!

Edit: Just had a look at the odds, bookies are completely torn between Leicester and Cardiff, with some having Cardiff favourites and some Leicester! Munster odds-on to win the tournament no matter where you look.

I'm hopefully going to get tickets for the Cardiff game, will be a cracker!

Quins were unlucky yesterday - didn't use the ball well at all, should of won, but a stella defence from Leinster!!!

Munster seem to have found some form again. Hopefully Leinster can turn them over!!

What's going on with the Ospreys?

The Ospreys are just the Ospreys. Some no brained jerk that has never played rugby at a high level is in charge of on the field events, and add that with a board room full of idiots that don't no a thing about rugby, and a Elite performance Director who is a fitness coach and you'll probably get the drift. They aint even worth talking about if I'm honest. All the time and effort I've put into supporting them, I'll continue to do so, but they repay you with that crap, and by bringing in Scott Johnson who will give them an even bigger ego than they have and probably only teach them how to make friends. It's awful, absolutely damn awful ! The worst thing, despite not being able to win anything this year with one of the most talented club teams on the planet, no fingers will be pointed or questions asked, we will just get the usual rubbish. I really hope NO Ospreys and even Welsh players for that matter tour with the Lions, for the Lions sake, and Wales'.

Who wouldn't? They're good enough to win even when bad. And that is the ultimate accolade any-one-person can give a team.

I'd actually love to see Tigers play them, as we're getting back some of our old form again. With things that have happened to Tigers I'm very impressed with their gutsy professionalism during trying times.

I agree with everything you say Sporting, however I do feel the players have something to answer for too. That whole club needs a stiff kick up the jacksie if it wants to get back to winning silverwear.

From what I've read your top dog (forget his name) won't be at the club for much longer, not with how people are talking! There's always light at the end of the tunnel.

It's just chaos there, they don't knwo what their doing and it's kinda kicking off now. Don't you just hate it when someone inside the club comes out and says "we aim to bounce right back on Saturday against the Scarlets" A million point win again a team in as much dissaray as ourselves is not going to show us anything, they had their chance, and showed what they're really like, Idiots !!

Atleast we have the EDF final to look forward to, if the Blues can win this trophy, it'll be their first piece of silverware since becoming a region. Cardiff didn't win anything for years before regionilisation either, so it'll be fantastic for them and will help them mentally for the big Heinken cup games, so good luck to them.

Only a week now till we find out the Lions squad
