Woooohoooooo Wales real have stepped up in this 6N! They have outplayed every other team and fully deserve the Grand Slam! I really wish I could be out in Cardiff tonight, but I'm still the happiest man alive.

Also would just like to point out how amazing the Welsh fans are! Showed how passionate we are for our country and players.

Shane Williams was the best player in the tournement IMO!

Close behind has got to be Jamie Noon; I know it's a bit patriotic of me, but his tackleing has been superb, and a well deserved try and man of the match yesterday!

(Still wonders how England came second after their performances) :-S

Because Wales decided to beat you by less than everyone else and give you second

EDIT: Not meant to be arrogant! I think England deserve second because France Ireland and Scotland were poor and people expected a lot more, I'm not saying England exceeded expectation but they showed against Ireland and France that they are a force and have the potential to be one of the best in the world again in a couple of years.

Consistency is the key for both Wales and England. If they can master the art of consistency they may well be up their with New Zealand and South Africa in a couple of years because they both have the potential in their squads.

Big weekend of rugby, Poppet!

Lets hope Tigers can turn over them pesky Wasps. Let our Rabini or Moody smash Cipriani a few times to put him off!

Never know might be an England VS Wales final. What a corker it was last year!

Yeah if yar into that sort of thing mate!

Should be a good game, Tigers are playing some good running Rugby this year. Wouldn't like to predict the outcome, Saracens didn't really test Ospreys fully, although the Osprey defence didn't look bad, but then again, Tigers showed what happens to a rush defence!

sorry if this is only in international games but i think its good in rugby that the ref can stop the game and get the proper ruling over the radio!! should be like that in footie!!

Same rules as always in all comps.

It don't always work out though mate. Seem to remember a certain team being done out of a world cup due to a video ref! As well as some dodgy reffing too............

So, if you had to pick a Lions 15 after this years six nations who would get your vote to play?

My back line:

15) Byrne (Nobody else. Patterson is a goal kicker and has lost most of his spark from a couple of years back)

14) Sacky (Toss up between Bowe and Sackey for me but gone for Sackey because of more international experience)

13) Noon (Solid big hitting centre that gives the back line a bit of steel)

12) Henson (Distribution skills are miles above any other)

11) Williams (Surely you can't argue?)

10) O'Gara/Cipriani/Hook/Jones (Anyone of them, all as good as each other on the front foot and as bad as each other on the back foot)

9) Blair (Very good in a poor Scottish team! So will have the right temperament when on the back foot)

My forwards:

8) Jones (Capt)

7) Williams (Everyone was saying Wallace up until full time of Wales vs Ireland where Williams took him to the cleaners)

6) Croft (Amazing athlete, great speed, power and work rate. Sneaks in ahead of Thomas)

5) Borthwick ( Best line-out forward in Europe at the moment)

4) O'Callaghan (Second best line-out forward that offers a lot around the park)

3) Jones ( Part of a magnificent front row for Wales that dominated every pack)

2) Ford (Best of a bad bunch of hookers in Europe, imo)

1) Sheridan (Just about get the nod ahead of Jenkins for his scrummaging)

There are so many of these topics around rugby boards at the moment, so thought I'd bring it up on funkypool

Nice one.

I think I agree with most of that. I think I'd bring Harry Ellis in above Blair, although Ellis has been out injured for a while, but is still the best IMO! Although granted, Blair has been brilliant, even being quoted as the best in the world at the moment.

Patterson wouldn't make it near my team. Although both the Lamont brothers would make it into my team. Although saying that, Josh Lewsey is in top from at the minute, along with his Forward team mate, Haskell! As well Geordan Murpht is quality.

I think I'd go Hook or Cipriani, which would suit Henson more. The more Wasps playing the better for Henson, he likes that high defence, which is a Wasp trademark. That is another reason why I'd bring Haskell in. I can't see many Irish making it in this year. Poor is the only word to describe them.

Good topic, Sporting!

Thank you

I must admit I have seen a lot of people confused as to why Lewsey is not in the England team, but I have not seen much of him this year, so didn't put him on the team sheet. As for the Lamont brothers, I cant see them touching Sackey and Williams at the moment. They definitely would be squad players but I don't think they are good enough to replace Sackey or Williams at this moment in time. And that is not just because they're are injured. Haskell has been quality and I think one area where the Lions have so much talent and such hard decisions to make is in the back row, especially with the English and Welsh lads
Murphy vs Byrne is one of those battles where you're either a Murphy or Byrne person
