I think you're missing the part in the rank calculations that makes 1000 only a split-second possibility!

Maybe Nick will change that part? 100% reduction seems very harsh for such an achievement....

When the rating system was up to 100 when you won you got +0.0, it shouldn't be any different now.

I think the thing being referred to earlier in the thread by some, and by me just here, is the line in the rank explaination that says : "eventually resulting in a 100% loss of points at 1000. "

This of course is referring to a loss of points GAINED for a win, NOT your rank which stays at 1000...

The lowest you can go is 500.0 at this point you would lose 0.0 for losing a frame.

Dunno if you mean 1000 or 500, but i was down to 56 on the old system!

Lowest i've seen is about 570 an i doubt there's many lower, u'd have to cheat to get it that low tho surely, an then u'd get your rating reset

so if ur rank gets reset wen u get to 1000 y shudnt it b reset if u get to 500

As explained above, your rank doesn't get reset when you get to 1000, it just cant go any higher...

Was a her and I didn't play her as my rank was about 720ish at that time. Didn't want to take chance on losing roughly 10 points lol
