People haven't even achieved 1000 rank in snooker yet... ( as far as i know ) , spursjay got around 994 at most... and is now deleted so to get 1000 rank on here would be extremely difficult.

I think this was the attraction/reason for the new ranking system. If i remember correctly people were reaching 100 quite quickly on the old system?

Yes, but it would take playing adept players winning 20 games a day without ever loosing just to maintain the rank (assuming rank still deplete's by 0.2 per day, but i havn't read the details in a while so that may be wrong!)

Any rank above 925 will take a 1-point drop per day.

And apologies, i see that the rank is automatically reduced upon reaching 1000, but not to 675 as stated before. According to the system your rank would be reduced to zero. (by 100%)

Imagine trying to maintain zero rank!

However, my favourite line from that section is the one that toally makes a fool outta those people who "only want to play certain rank" and "wont play newbies":

"This system means that regardless of the ranking of your opponent you will gain and lose points just as easily. So there is no reason not to play anyone! "

snooker game has a lack of players. well it does have its pro's. but there is loads more pros on here.

what would you be called if you got to 1000.00 though?

i was 994,4 on snooker and all i had for a win no matter who against was 0.1 to 0.3. and everydays 1.0 drop makes it very hard to reach 1000. and if some1 ever reached that he/she should play everyday at least 10 games and win them all just keep that ratin... heh

thats at most gunna be a 60 game winning streak, i'd love to be close enough to go for that!
