Well since i mentioned it in the "I wanna know" thread ive had a few PM's asking what the stats were, so here you go:

1000 Games (meaning different players, some for one rack, some for many), split between lunch time and 10pm onwards.

Game always named "OVER 800"

Only 93 people under 800 entered:

42 under 750

34 Newbies, of which 27 left immediately when the idea of OVER 800 was politely explained.

Only 7 awkward people out of 1000, says a lot for the Funkypool community!

Its worth noting that although 51 were in the 750 - 800 group, most were nearer 800, in fact quite a few left having reached 800!

Also, when you observe that only 8 people were between 700 and 750, and only 7 "newbies" were determined to play, then it's clear that there is no problem being able to play who you want..

(and yeah pool_life - its just a coincidence i ended up pro during this!)

As i said before, i love a structured, sensible, debate.

Please don't tell me you sat there for a 1000 games making note of who entered and played...

But for those who dont, or cant be bothered to read the whole thread, i carried this on whenever i had to stay up late (personal reasons) or on lunch at work, just jotting down who came and went..

There were plenty of spectators who can prove this is no rat! (Just ask pool_life - sorry 'bout that rank mate, will bring it back soon)
