I am not sucking up at all with this comment but nick has everything under controll. The only reason that i suggested that we have capital letters is to irritate anybody trying to hack in.

Well, in the light of subsequent posts, maybe i shouldnt have removed mine.

Please remember that simply aquiring someones password isnt hacking! Hacking an FP account would mean to gain control of the server remotely and manipulate the account from there. (altering registered details and password etc)

As Nick says, and he would know by having access to the machine logs, this has never happened.

Sure, people may have gained access to others accounts by aquiring thier password in any number of ways (as detailed above - hotmail being a prime example), however that is always the fault of the account owner, no-one else, and not an issue for funkypool.

No funkypool account has ever been hacked... if you're worried about internet security do not use Hotmail (as the security question is an easy entry to the account), use good passwords (not based on words) and ensure you don't click "remember id" on any shared computer.

Not to cause any arguments but wasnt it about 2-4 months ago when a mods account was broke into ( hacking is the wrong term ) and began to boot other members for nothing ?

Nope, the mod in question gave his password away and therefore nothing was 'broken' into.

not saying any names though, but you have got to be real daft if you're giving your password away, especially if you are a moderator.

tip: dont give your password away, it will lead to bad things
