that's true mc. If u get a chance can u look at game queries page 2 'persitant abusers'. This thread died a quick death and could do with reviving coz I think it could deal with this sort of thing quite well.

we all cant sit back while someone is getting racial sexist, or verbally abused.

it really bugs me when someone starts.
in MY opinion, we either need more mods,
OR a *vote to boot* option which im not sure about due to people abusing it.

The site does need more moderators thats a fact. However the ones we have currently are supurb and it will be/ has been tough to find players who could be equally as good given the position. MOst candidates (redhot, germanviking, fry). Just don't play enough to be given the role, must be a huge sacrifice to your offline life. Admin have said more Moderators will be appointed when they are found, until then we will just have to embrace the bullies. I'm with admin on this one as I'd rather have a few Moderators who are extremely good in their work rather than last year, when there was an army of them but hardly any were active. Chat moderating has become alot better sicne the appointment of topshot, mattaus and pool_life, always online and always give everyone a fair chance. All 3 do a stirling job . If I was to put names forward they would be guess_who and cool_dude. Both cracking players, both extremely active and have been the past few years.

Here Here dresden. There is definitely a noticable improvement since the mods were streamlined.

I agree with that too. The mods are excellent now. I like the sound of Justsumgirls auto-boot function too. Does it work with members?

I'm guessing that it can only boot when a number of known swear words are used, and if the spelling is changed, it fails - would that be correct?

Yeah thats it. I think there may be some here who can back this up with intimate knowledge

But it isnt very good, by Nick's own admission, swear filters suck!
