i was just wondering if it would be possible to have a status like msn i.e away ect. because on many a times i have gone downstairs to get a drink,answer door ect. and people have PM'd me saying hi or w.e and they assume im ignoring them as i never replied so it would make it easier for a status to be brought in thanks

This addition could be brought in but would it become too much like a chat room rather than a online pool site?

In my opinion the site has to keep as pool-wise as possible , for chatting go to the chat room and if your busy you can easily just log off/on .

i never said busy why would you log off then log back on when your just going downstairs for a few mins to do something it's a preety pointless idea thats why i suggested that theycould bring in a status policy it's nothing major ino but it's just that when i nip to the toilet or nip for a drink and people PM me they think im being ignorant when im not

Not at all a problem because I can see where you are coming from with the idea but I'm just wondering if it is entirely nessacary to enforce but I'm sure Nick would have a look.

i did mention it's not a great deal it's just that even when i PM some1 because there not there i get kinda annoyed lol because u don't think that u just think oh he's ignorant but he/she isn't they have just gone dwnstairs or up lol but i just think it would be alot easier if it was enforced

I may seem cynical here, but why do you need a status?

There are already online/offline, and if you dont reply obviously you're busy..

what im saying is that when i dont reply i have had people calling me ignorant and then start swearing thats why mate to cut out the swearing and abuse

i dont mean all the stautuses from msn i just mean just the away one and obviously online/offline but it's not just the same person it's various people who do it and i carnt ignore evryone who swears or try's to abuse me it's a limit of 20 lol and they dont abuse me no matter what they say hello being polite and considerate and because i didn't reply to there message they got the wrong end of the stick and assumed i was being ignorant but i wasn't i was getting a drink ect.

i understand what you mean and it is a good idea. there is a but though...........this is a tiny thing that wont really make much of a difference to ppl or making the site better. I am all for new ideas but they have to be decent ones that would help the site get better. An "I'M TAKING A WHIZZ" away message type thingy isn't all that benificial.
